5 of 5 Perfect mobile companion for my laptop Tuesday, April 28, 2009

I got this since i'd already seen how great a webcam the NX6000 was. And when i got the camera AND a wireless mouse for the same price i'd paid for the NX6000, I had to get one. And I"ve been blown away by the quality of both. The mouse specially gets high marks for the nifty enlarger button thats on the side and the nice horizontal scroll feature. The mouse resolution is also perfect for work with graphics. One word of caution. If the webam is not working on yahoo or something else on vista (or xp for that matter) check if you have any crapware installed by your manufacturer on your pc. My friend's Dell had some crapware from creative which created problems. Once that had been uninstalled, everything was smooth. The webcam has a very wide angle and a sharp picture. Plus lowlight performance is great. On skype, friends comment that its as good as watching me on tv. Hope this helps you in making a choice.

the web cam is awesome you must get this.. brilliant resolution and very easy to use. the software provided might not work but u can download the latest version of the software from microsoft's site free of cost. mouse is fine i did not like the scroll its kind of free so and also does not work well with some applications. otherwise its a great deal. i am quite satisfied with the deal.

I bought two of these and they were very simple to setup and use with Windows XP. They don't extend very far enough for a desktop monitor but it worked great on the laptop. You have to be very close for the mic to pick up anyways, even turning up the mic sensitivity to the max. The software really wants you to create a Windows Live user account to use their video chat free service. There is a delay (at least when we used it) that was about 2 seconds (kinda irritating but not the product's fault). We ended up moving the desktop cam pretty close to the user so you might consider getting a USB extension unless you have front USB ports. It comes with a black round fabric carrying case to help protect it while in the laptop bag. The bonus mouse worked great of course. Hope this was helpful.

This set of tools has exceptional quality and I paid an excellent price. The camera and its software work very well, but the wireless mouse is the best I've ever used. Batteries seem to last forever! The method of battery replacement is the easiest I've seen. The wheel is very smooth. The control is excellent and I've seen no drift of the pointer. If you need a wireless mouse this is the one for you.
