These DVD disc's were the best value I found on the internet. I am transfering my VCR file to DVD so I needed quality Dual Layer media. In all the transfers I never found even ONE faulty disc. Also, Buy.com provided superior communication, FAST shipping and reasonable prices. I highly recommend Memorex media as well as Buy.com.

4 of 5 Don't burn at top speeds Wednesday, July 16, 2008

In general, I'm satisfied with the value. However, I made myself 3 coasters before realizing it's a lot better to burn at lower speeds. I have a recent PC and software, so I think there is a slight problem with the media. If you aren't in a hurry and can afford burning slowly, I can definitely recommend this. Didn't have a problem with the DVDs I produced.

Memorex discs are manufactured by Ritek and these dl discs are inferior. The dual layer creates problems with burning since these discs are made poorly. When burning you will receive write errors and if the disc does burn successfully it will freeze and stop when playing back in your player. Go with vebatim. These discs are cheaper but you will pay for it in the end with time and money. Was this review helpful?

Memorex provides consistent quality in its products. I've tried cheaper products and other name brands but I have always come back to Memorex. If the quality of your data is important then don't mess around saving a couple bucks. Of course, you can always go ahead and learn the hard way. Was this review helpful?
