1 of 5 Looks nice...the only nice thing I can say. Sunday, June 14, 2009 Jonathan from Brooklyn, NY
Everyone who listens in a noisy enviroment (like NYC subway trains) needs a sound isolating ear buds (the native iPhone buds are not) but the iMetal is not a good choice.
Here's how I compare them to iPhone's native ear buds.
Style: iMetal wins. Black and silver looks much better than the ubly apple white.
Quality: iPhone wins. I'm tired of replacing my Apples phones so I keep trying other brands hoping I can find one more durable. The iMetal ones started to fail after two weeks. My Apple ones usual last two months for me.
Ergonomics: iPhone wins. It is easy to find and push the button on Apple's. But the iMetal has the button inches below the mic so it is easy to mix the two up leaving me fumbling for the actual button. In addition, the button adds enough weight that I have a hard time keeping the phones in my ear.
Sound: iPhone wins. Though plenty of people complain about Apple ear buds, for me they give me great mid and high tones. I'd prefer more lower range tones which the iMetal gives, but the iMetal lows sound muddy.

5 of 5 Great Value! Friday, January 02, 2009 A Customer from San Diego, CA
It's hard to find a mid-priced set of earbuds with the Iphone button and microphone built in. These ones do not dissapoint. Great sound and they work awesome with the Iphone.
Very sharp looking and they fit my ears great as well.

5 of 5 All Around Satisfaction Wednesday, December 31, 2008 A Customer from New York, NY
Works great!! Sound is amazing! Have no had any problems so far. I bought 2 other pairs of some other company earlier, threw them in the trash. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice catch Wednesday, December 31, 2008 Marilynne from Jackson, MS
I got 2 pairs of these when Buy.com had them on a great sale.
While the noise-canceling level could be better (I can still hear some sounds while they're in), the sound quality is good and they fit comfortably thanks to the multiple sizes of tips.
Voice calls using the built-in mic are clear, though it does pick up a lot of wind noise if there's much motion.
Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially at the great price on sale. Was this review helpful?

Fantastic sound on my Blackberry Storm. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. Great value. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good for the money Tuesday, December 30, 2008 GruntmaN from mid west
Not the best for music but not the worst. Phone calls sound great and little background interference. Certainly worth the $36 Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 LOVE 'EM! Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Kitty from Long Beach, CA
I like these better than my Bose earbuds. I'm able to get a good fit with my asymetrical ears, the sound is terrific, the mic works great while driving (hands free requirement here in California). Go get yourself a set! :) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great replacement Sunday, August 31, 2008 Jeff Morgan from Atlanta, GA
I needed something new after the ones that came with my iPhone died. I found this one to be favorably reviewed and so took a chance with in ear buds. I admit it is odd to have something crammed down into my canal but they do sound great without all the outside noise.
I find I talk softer because I can't hear myself speak as well. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Happy Wednesday, August 06, 2008 A Customer from TX
I got these because of the price and I haven't been disappointed. I use my headset while riding my motorcycle and these stay in a lot better than my other ones that I had for my iPod and these are very comfortable. I can ride with them in for a long time and they never hurt. My other iPod ones made my ears sore after 30 min.
Good sound range, nice bass and ok highs... they kind of feel cheap at times, but they don't perform cheap..
good buy!! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Not the best bang for the buck... Tuesday, July 29, 2008 A Customer from Greensboro, NC
Overall the headphones are OK.
THE GOOD: (1) Sound quality is high. Highs and Mids are excellent. (2) Look sharp. (3) Comes with carrying case. (4) Several earpiece sizes. THE BAD: (1) Could use a little more bass. I mostly listen to jazz/blues. (2) When the chord makes contact with anything while you're listening, you can hear it magnified in the headphone. This gets annoying if you're moving around.

4 of 5 Good Headset Wednesday, April 09, 2008 A Customer from Austin, TX
Overall I like this headset. The sound is good and having multiple size earpieces makes it very comfortable. The weight of the cord and button makes it feel a bit heavy though Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 excellent headset with too high price Sunday, March 16, 2008 A Customer from college station, tx
This headset is excellent for iphone. I have three headsets for iphone: original one from Apple, one from eBay about $9 with shipping, and this one. After comparison, I ranked this one is the best of the three. But, I think the price is still too high. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great iPhone headset Sunday, March 02, 2008 jks from Hayward, CA
What a discovery! Since the first earphones I got from this manufacturer, their products have been impressive. This headset looks cool, sounds great, and the features are really functioning well. Much better than the standard one from Apple. Recommended. Was this review helpful?

I tried V-Moda and super.fi which are good, but to bass heavy and kind of expensive.
I also tried Newer Techs Earbuds which suck.
Now the Maximo iP-HS2i are my favorite. They sound great, not so bass heavy and fit great.
Plain simple best Headphones for iPhone so far and they cost only about $56.
