Max Payne iz a keeper. It haz a Mature rating mostly cuz of violence, but cursing....hmm...I think I heard a couple, but far and few between. You are shooting most of the time and it takez a while to master the controlz. It'z comparable to Halo on X-box, but PS2 graphics are better. The bullet time iz the best feature of this game. Like the matrix effectz, you can see the bulletz flyin' past you, but you can aim in real-time. Excellent feature. The storyline doez get really messed up sometimez, but it'z a pretty good novel game. If you usually uze a game guide on long gamez......don't. I didn't and it wuz awesome. Trial and error all the way. You only start at one difficulty level, after that you can have timed, or tougher game play. I hope there'z a second one...or one similar or by the same developerz. This game is similar to the hit game GTA3. Same violence but it is changed a little bit from GTA3. If you have noticed GTA3 is being taking of the shelves because it is so bad in content(I already have the game) Max Payne is here to stay. Max Payne could be compared to Soldier OF Fortune but is not as good. If you ask me Max Payne is a keeper. PS2 is way better than any of those brand new systems like XBOX and Gamecube (you could get the same results from a playstation. Some of this game is stupid because it doesnt make sense.
