Recording is clear but too much feedback and noise when the product position was changed with any slightly movement.
The earphone plug has bad connection that I have to hold it tight to listen continueously.
There's no stopper of the earphone string -the buds always fell out from ears due to the pull, also cause neck uncomfortable.
Wished there's FM radio - the Sandisk 2G sold at Buy.com is cheaper & with FM.
Back light isn't good enough even had adjusted.
Easy to learn how to operate but not always work right

I love this little thing!! Pretty ease to learn how to use and plug and play out of the package! Voice recorder works great too. Another thing I like alot (once i found it) was that you can change the backlight colors to like 4 or 5 different colors....COOL! Was this review helpful?

It works. But everything looks like my old 128MB MP3 player. It is bigger than my other newer players and looks not as nice as those. I feel the power consumpsion is more than others, too. However I have not got a chance to try more batteries yet.

NO MP3 I have ever used has the sound this one does. Using the same ear buds i have used with my other players, the sound of those doesn't come close the clarity this one provides. Don't know what technology they use, but if you value fidelity over bells and whistles, get this one. period. Just don't think you are ever going to use this to read an ebook. this was a great mp3 player after my ipod 2nd generation, but yesterday, i was using it in bed, and the play button stopped working, i dont know what to do now, and i use my mp3 player a lot, i think there is only one choice now, buy a ipod touch, i think there are a lot better mp3 players out there like sansa that are as cheap as this, i just dont know what to do now Was this review helpful?

This is one of the best mp3 players I have ever bought.
Reasons / GOOD STUFF:
I can use it anywhere: By itself, on my computer, laptop, with an aux port in my truck, or at school.
More Portability- I can put files on it.
Sound Quality/Volume- Excellent, and you can turn it up loud.
2GB for under $50! Where else can you find such a deal?
Misnomers / BAD STUFF(Not really):
Transferring mp3s to the player is slower than USB 2.0. I think it updates its database, but it is definitely manageable.
Navigation- It does not sort by genre, or other tags, but I got around this by sorting the mp3s in folders, which you can get to easily on the mp3 player. Was this review helpful?

Awesome for my 8 yr olds first MP3 player. Just wish it was a little more rugged. He's dropped it several times, it still works but the plastic lens cracked. Glad I didn't spend a couple hundred dollars to see if it was something he would like. He takes it everywhere ! Was this review helpful?

With the exception of how quickly it eats a battery, this MP3 player is fantastic for the price. The extra space on it is a real plus for storing information, I've got almost every song I could really want on it, and there's still room for lots more. I've not tested the voice recorder, but I'm sure it's in the functional, but not the best range, as I wouldn't expect much more from what I've already gotten out of it.
I'd tell anyone who's looking for an MP3 player, but doesn't want an Ipod to get one of these. Was this review helpful?

I have owned this mp3 player now for over a week, and I must say I am really happy with this.

Pros: Nice sound, equalizers, small size and a good 2 gig memory. Headphones which come with the player are great ( I found them better than what I got with my ipod Nano). Drag and drop ( you do not need to use itunes or some such software). Works on external batteries. Price.
Cons: Navigation could have been better, also the player seems a bit fragile.
