 Editor's Note
While the first three seasons of LOST uncovered each survivor's origins through mind-melting flashbacks, season four has a whole new twist in store: flash-forwards. These glimpses of the future reveal crucial information about who eventually makes it off the island, all the while adding more mystery to a show steeped in compelling puzzles. As for their present-day adventures, the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 spend the season discovering the truth about The Others and the Dharma Project, and learn that a group sent to "rescue" them may have more sinister motivations. This collection includes all 14 episodes from the 2007-2008 season, as well as a remarkable array of bonus materials such as a behind-the-scenes look at the show's backlot, and a live performance of the LOST score by the Honolulu Symphony Pops.

 | Lost - The Complete Fourth Season - DVD Review By: Arlo J. Wiley - Blogcritics.org Reviews Published on: 12/9/2008 11:01 PM | |
The excellence of Lost certainly hasn't gone unrecognized, however. This year, it was nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy for the first time since its freshman year. That's how good season four is. In fact, the only misstep is the convoluted, confused "The Other Woman," and even that isn't what you would call a bad episode. There are no creative failures here, only triumphs. It's as strong a season of television as any I've ever seen....read the full review |

4 of 5 Where is this show going Monday, January 05, 2009 musictool462 from Minnesota
If you have been watching this series then this is a must for you. If not then why would you jump in so far along. This season has me pretty much "Lost." They took away a lot of the suspense with the way the story was told in this season and they are getting more and more obvious. Still the first 3 seasons have made this show and one confusing season won't take away from that. Also this season was when there was the writers strike, so it is shorter and that may be one reason for the plain storytelling. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Lost is awesome Sunday, December 28, 2008 Moonturtel from Readfield, Maine
I feel like Lost is one of the best series in a long while. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 14 Episodes for FULL PRICE Wednesday, December 24, 2008 A Viewer from Los Angeles, CA
Was expecting a full series for the price. I should have known. 6 DVD's, but only 4 have episodes. 14 episodes in total. Not the usual 24. Price should have been a lot less. The 2 extra feature DVD's don't make up for a short "writer's strike" season. Things happen. Only 14 episodes were able to be filmed. Should have charged accordingly. Who is in it for the money? 5 of 5 Rebounded back strongly Tuesday, December 09, 2008 V. Louis from Los Cruces, NM
Episodic tv is a difficult medium and the writer's strike affected the quality of a lot of shows. Lost however had one of its best seasons. The thrills, characterizations, and mysterious added up to an entertaining season. Since Lost builds upon layers it is difficult for new viewers to pick up. For those who've caught up though by dvds or tv watching this is a rewarding season. Was this review helpful?
