I'm very happy with this one. Its smaller and niftier than I thought and fits neatly on top of my gateway platinum. The cord not being long is a plus factor since it makes the whole setup less messy (I can easily carry my laptop around with the camera on top). The drivers and the software works well too.

This camera is good for the price. It performs well under good lighting conditions, but struggles with bright or dark settings. The software gives you the option to install only the drivers which is a nice feature that all hardware should have. I did not test the sound or video, I'm only concerned with snapping pictures for time lapse photography.

This is a great small laptop cam. It produces a great picture and has the microphone built in. The price is definitely right.

I liked this webcam specially its ability to turn side ways as well as up down . Also its retractable clamping base is really handy for thicker screen laptops.

This is the first time I got a Notebook WEBCam. For the price I got it is absolutely worthful and very small in size, easily fits in pockets. The best feature of this product is the built in mic, even the low voice can be heard clearly at the other end. Takes and broadcasts the images with clarity even in low light. Easy to install, to use and to handle. I am completely satisfied with the gadget and would recommend.

I had used many web cam's before, this is the first time to get a notebook web cam. For the price(8.95) I got, it is very much worthful. The best feature is that it takes and broadcast good images even in low light and has good clarity. I dont even yell as the Mic works excellent. Its easy to operate, to install and to handle.

I initially had problems in setting up the cam as I was using Vista. But I later downloaded the Quick Cam sofware for Vista from Logitech themselves. The Cam is too good. Worth its cost. Mic also works fine. The pictures are clear and good.

Simple as that. I thought since I was getting a decent name brand cam that it would perform "decently," boy was I wrong. First off, my old cam (thats about 5 or 6 years old) can produce better images than those of this newer Notebook cam. the picture and video on this cam are so dark and grainy. I always have to adjust the setting on this camera, doesnt matter in im in a well lit room, a sunny room or dim room, this thing sucks. thoroughly dissatisfied with this product. I guess I'll save my pennies and find a quality cam, like I should have done in the first place.

Video quality: subpar on the whole, blocky and poor light balance. Mounting options: tension clip would've been a lot better than fixed width. The good? Um, it's light enough for travel.

It sets up easy enough, but with default settings, it is dark and grainy. After spending some time manually adjusting a lot of settings, you can make it look okay, but don't dare change the lighting at all, or you might turn purple! Perhaps with some time I can get used to it, but my fist impression is not positive.

I had purchased this few days back with Mail in Rebate offer and for $15 its a good bargain and value for money product. Overall I am satisfied with the Product. Its easy to use and Install.

Just set this up, and haven't used it extensively, but it's a webcam, how tough should it get? Anyway, set-up was extremely easy, with one major exception: The webcam has a "focus" dial on the cam itself (the black circular area surrounding the lense). Anyway, it took me a while to figure out that this was a manual focus dial, because the lense was dialed so far out of focus, I had to make 4-5 complete turns to get it into focus. Thus, for 30 minutes, before I learned about this dial, I kept trying to adjust all of the settings in the control panel to get it to focus, but to no avail. After I dialed it in, the cam was very clear, and easily made out clear images of people 20'ft behind me in the cafe where I was sitting. Software was easy install, cam attached snugly and easily to the top of my laptop, and cord for the cam was perfect length.

Very good design, it clips right on any laptop perfectly and it is very stable. The microphone works pretty good, you can talk without screaming which is a plus if not essential if you want to do video conferencing. The image it is ok, not so good with low light condition when appears pretty artificial and with reduced color rendition. Whit normal light it works just fine. I payed less than 18 bucks after 10 dollars rebate and it one of the best little camera I have ever owned, logitech rocks! It was easy to install on my Compaq Presario 2200 with Windows XP. There was a little problem when I connected the camera to the laptop the first time as per installation instruction the computer should have open a window to tell me that it was seeing the new device connected, well this never happened. I open Skype, I open the option for testing the camera and everything worked just fine after that. One important consideration is that there was not indication if the product would work with windows Vista, careful about that because it is not reported on the package.

I was giving a presentation using an external projector. Somehow the device that I installed a few days before completely shut off the connection. The projector could not detect any signal. Only when I uninstalled parts of software, did the connection started to work. The saddest part of this is that it was extremely difficult to figure out that it was not a hardware problem. In my opinion, it is as if you replace a bulb in the hall and the toilet stops working. I tried to find a place to report a bug on their website, but could find anything except for a huge list of FAQ (it is not a good sign!)

I wanted a notebook webcam that would integrate with Skype, and this was great! It worked out of the box, very little tweaking and I had it up and running in minutes. I'm not as computer savvy as some people, but I am very happy with the camera and how easy it is to use. I would recommend it to others, especially those with Skype.

I never had such a bad experience in buying things online. It would have better if I would picked it and tested from a store. The picture quality is really bad. You can't see ur picture properly in low light even if you checked the "low light boost" option. Seeing this offer I recommended my friend to purchase 2 more. I really disappointed with this product from logitech and they claimed it to be no 1.

If you are a notebook user and would like to have the easy and best performing web-cam. This should be your option. Its better than Creative web-cams. I've bought two. Both the cams have excellent picture quality and I've heard from the other ends of a very good voice reception too. Its cheap and good for the price you invest. Buy.com shipped it promptly.

Good deal consider the microphone is great and image quality is fine after adjustment. It also fit my laptop perfectly. However, compare to the other 2 webcams I have, it appears to be slower and darker. I can notice the images delay and smear when I move.

This thing is OK, but you need to have a strong frontal light sourse for best results. I have tried to use this in the day time, but unless you are facing a bright window, it does not work well. How many of us look out of a window when we are on a laptop? My old one worked much better.

This is the greatest webcam I bought for its price with google check out and rebate. The performance is great for video chat. It also gives light boost for night time or where there is not enough light. I am quite a bit surprised with this little webcam's performance. It's a lot more than I expected for such price. I definitely recommend this product to everyone without doubt.

This is my first webcam, and I am totally satisfied with the quality logitech has provided in this product. But I had problem in installing the software, the CD was not working and also it was asking for another CD to load driver. I have to download the software from the internet, then that worked. But there is only one word to say "Perfect".

Very nice product.Image quality is good for the price payed. I specially like the microphone. It gives good quality sound even when my headset microphone is not properly working. The only problem that I faced was the focus. It does not focus that well.

Okay, I am a computer person. People come to me for my opinion on computer stuff on a regular basis. But my mom, who is that strong on a computer, figured this out, and she loves it. She talks to my aunt through skype with it, and my aunt is on the other side of the world. Great unit, and well worth the money.

Great little webcam, worked right the first time around with my IBM T41 laptop. Video quality was good and works with the program that I use for Video conferencing (SKYPE).

I use the quickcam to Skype my daughters at college. It is great to have the camera and microphone built in. I think you can always expect quality from Logitech and with this device, they delivered again!
