    I bought these for my wife's pc that did not have external speakers. I ran them off the monitor's usb port and they powered right up. The sound for the size of the speakers is amazing and powerful. I got them for $20 bucks and it was worth every penny of it.

    If your notebook or laptop doesn't have speakers, then this product would be nice to have. I have a HP DV2000, so I wanted to enhance the sounds to my notebook. After purchasing this product, I regret not keeping my notebook simply stock. These Logitech speakers are not much louder than the speakers that are preinstalled in the notebook and the quality of these speakers are not any better either.
