I got this web cam because it appeared to be most compatible with Linux and Skype. It worked on my Ubuntu build with less than a Gig of system memory, and some out dated graphics card from 2000. So, this cam did everything that I was hoping. The software sent with this is not for Linux. So, I can't say much with regard to that. However, it does make a nice drink coaster. ;)

This camera actually works with Windows Vista!!! Unlike the actual Microsoft cams, which are not even recognized. The quality is stunning and very smooth. Forget about the Microsoft products. Was this review helpful?
