I bought this for use with my desktop PC. I also have a MX400 for my laptop. I tested this mouse side-by-side with MX400 on my laptop. The first thing I notice in this mouse is its heavy weight compare to the MX400 (even though that they are the same size). This mouse is also more sensitive than MX400. Because of this heavy weight and high sensitivity, it's somewhat difficult to control the mouse precisely. Ladies should not use this mouse if they want a performance mouse for precision. But for everyone else, I recommend some practice to get the full potential of this mouse.
For other options like the one click search button, I found it useful occasionally. Although you might find it annoying that you have to install the Logitech software to get that option to work, it is extremely useful if you also have the Logitech Wave Keyboard. The software works for both mouse and keyboard and it does not significantly slower my laptop.

I purchased the MX5XX version about one year ago. I have had no problems with it. The MX620 is the same physical size but has less buttons. I have found that I don't use them any way, so I have not missed them. I'm going to use this with a Laptop, so I'm also glad it works on all types of surfaces. It works as advertised so what more could you want. I like the fast scroll option but went back to normal operation. My only problem is that the low battery light came on after 1 week of operation, these were the batteries that were included. Hope this is not a sign of short battery life. Overall I would buy anther Logitech mouse - what more can you say about a product. Was this review helpful?

It is great product. I am using for my media PC / TV. This mouse is so powerful that it can be used from 20 feet without any problem.You may have some delay after that distance. If size doesn't matter then this is a very good mouse. When I looked at the images before I ordered it, I was imagining a small or medium size mouse. After I received it the first thing I felt was that it is big.
Other than that it is easy to install and use.

I love Logitech products. I had an MX610 that I loved but bought a Nano for the small dongle. Then I saw this and had to have it. It had all the features of the Nano (except the nano dongle but his dongle is much smaller than the 610 dongle). I love the size and shape of this mouse. It fits my hand perfectly and all the programmable buttons means you can customize it to almost any setup you can imagine! Was this review helpful?

It was almost everything that I expected. For me one of the features that I liked was the contour of the mouse. The wheel moves freely with ease. The grip on the left side isn't made of plastic so it is easy to grip onto. I use the back and forward button a lot too. The only button that I don't use is the search button. I haven't looked, but hopefully I can change it to a different function. Also my computer didn't recognize it (the mouse) and allow me to make changes, so hopefully it was my computer, this is another thing that I will have to look into.
