4 of 5 Great keyboard, still a little pricey Sunday, May 24, 2009 Tom B. from South Pasadena, CA
This is a very nice USB keyboard and really fits the bill if you need backlit keys. The feel of the keyboard is exceptional as well. Very handy in the evening when there may not be a lot of ambient light or when the keyboard is in an under-desk drawer. Price kinda hurts though, as a regular USB keyboard w/o mouse goes for $15-$20. Very nice keyboard otherwise. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect Keyboard! Tuesday, May 19, 2009 MC from Tallahassee, FL
I ordered this to replace the default keyboard that came with a desktop HP computer. This has to be some of the best money I have ever spent! The feel of keys as well as the key strokes is of the highest quality, I noticed my typing improve as my old keyboard would randomly not register some key strokes.
Logitech has consistently produced the best webcams and mice in my experience and now I add keyboards to that list.
Well done as always Logitech! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best keyboard I've used. Sunday, May 10, 2009 R B May from East Patchogue
This keyboard has the best feel of a keyboard that I've ever used.My wife liked it so much that I bought her one also. You can't beat it for working in a limited lighting environment. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Keyboard Friday, May 08, 2009 A Customer from St Petersburg, FL
This keyboard is awesome. I love the feel of the keys as well as the sleek looks and being able to see the keys in the dark. My only complaint (and it's a very small one) is that it could be raised a little higher on the back when on the desk. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great keyboard, but not perfect Monday, May 04, 2009 Sean from Washington, DC
A lot has been said about this keyboard already, so I don't have a lot to add. Some have complained about the layout, but I found this to not be a problem at all. Admittedly, I've had a Logitech keyboard before, so I'm used to it.
Two things of note: first, it's not obvious from the pictures or description, but there are small, flip-out legs on the keyboard, so you don't have to have it lie completely flat. The other surprise is how loud the space bar is. I got used to it, but the rest of the keys are so quiet that it's strange to have one noisy key.
The keyboard is a little pricey... but probably worth it! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Absolutely First-Class Keyboard! Sunday, April 26, 2009 Lyle B. from Minot, North Dakota
I've owned a dozen keyboards over the years. This one is by far the leader in its class. It just feels good and looks good. The lighting is top-notch. Worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, at any price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 FANTASTIC PRODUDT ! ! ! ! ! Monday, April 20, 2009 Sam from Ladson, SC 29456
Sleek, modern design. Easy to read in the dark. Comfortable to use. My keyboard is on a pull-out shelf on my desk and I like to work without overhead lights. Its been impossible to find a table top lamp that casts light on a keyboard that doesn't also cast a very distracting light. Undercounter lights have done the same thing. and most were too bulky.
This keyboard is the solution to a problem that's been persistent since I started using computers many years ago. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Finally, a keyboard I can love. Sunday, April 12, 2009 Warren Wilson from Kirkland, Washinton 98034
For whatever reason, every previous keyboard I have owned had one thing in common: The alphanumeric markings on the most-used keys would wear off (perhaps my skin is acidic?). Although I am an excellent touch typist, the absence of the keys' IDs would sometimes lead to confusion. With the logitech illuminated key-board, this ceases to be a problem for all time. The keys are laser-etched from the bottom side, and the intensity of the back lighting is adjustable. Typing without any room lighting is a cinch. But the advantages of this keyboard go beyond what I have already described. The "feel" reminds me of the best electric typewriters from days of yore. My fingers have been cruelly bent and twisted by arthritis, and with my previous keyboards I would find myself inadvertently inserting extra letters where they did not belong. This new keyboard has a solid feel that allows me to type much more rapidly without all those extra letters posing a problem. I sincerely doubt that anyone will build a better keyboard anytime in the near future--if ever! I have noticed a few of the keys are not perfectly evenly lit: Tab, Enter, Shift and Control are a tad dimmer on one edge or the other--no big deal. Maybe my board failed to pass final inspection, and that might account for why I bought it at a substantial discount. I give it a big thumbs up. You can't go wrong. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Excellent Keyboard Monday, March 30, 2009 A Customer from Fairfield, Ohio
This keyboard has a very clean layout with an excellent feel to the keys. The backlite is white and adjustable. Your favorite applications can be accessed via the function keys. I highly recommend this keyboard - just plug and play Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Smooth as a breeze... Monday, March 23, 2009 esambris from Madison, WI
The keyboard has an extraordinary, clean-cut design. It is much better than the mac equivalents on laptops. The illumination feature is precise and allows for clear visualization under low-light conditions. I was able to interface the keyboard to a LINUX environment (Ubuntu) without the slightest of troubles. I highly recommend this product... I am looking forward to many years ahead of typing! 5 of 5 Thrilled! Tuesday, March 10, 2009 A Customer from Spokane, WA
I'm very happy with this keyboard, and my only regret is that I didn't wait just a bit longer for the price to drop another ten dollars here at Buy.com, but let me tell you, I don't feel like it was a bad purchase even at the price I paid. The keyboard is VERY sturdy with full-sized keys, a silent press (only the space bar makes any real noise, all the other keys are whisper-silent), and a well-designed palm rest. If I had to name one design flaw, it was that the function keys are not lit, only their "specialized" functions are. However, this is a minor complaint, since the keys are spaced out in three sections, F1-4, F5-8, and F9-F12. Thus, it's very simple to know which function key you are looking for, even in complete darkness. The more you use the keyboard, the easier it will be as the special symbols start to become associated with their respective function keys. I'm sure you might be skeptical of how this would be any better than an ergonomic keyboard, and to be honest, you'd be right, an ergo keyboard IS more natural to type on, but the feel of these keys is like none other. Anyone can get used to a regular keyboard if they have proper seating and adjustable arm rests, and if you are going to use a regular keyboard, this one is the best I've found so far. The backlighting, by the way, is very good, illuminating almost 100% of each key's symbol, as well as providing a small outline of the keys themselves. You may question the price, but trust me, this is a high quality product! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great keyboard. Monday, February 16, 2009 Dan from Huntsville, AL
This keyboard has a good layout and tactile response and the illumination is just right. Perfect for a dimly lit area. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Keyboard Tuesday, February 03, 2009 JC from Tampa, FL
This is the nicest keyboard that I have ever had. I was a little worried that it would be weird typing on something so thin, but to my suprise, it is a lot better. I am typing faster and with less strain. The keys feel the same as my dell XPS laptop. The backlight feature is great if you are up late at night (like me) typing. Short-cut keys work well and numeric 10 key is very convenient for laptop users. Logitech makes a great quality product again! Comes with software but all I did was plug it in and started typing - very simple. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome keyboard Saturday, January 31, 2009 N. Palmer from Provo, UT
I love this keyboard. The keys feel great and solid, and I can type very fast on it. The slim profile saves a nice amount of desk space, the backlit keys look great, it's kind of like a laptop keyboard but higher quality. The hotkeys are useful (yes, there is a volume control/mute, among many others) You probably won't be disappointed with this keyboard. Buy it!
TIP: The middle of the board is not as supported as it could be (bends slighty when pressed). A folded sticky note will solve the problem though.

This keyboard is amazing. The lights work great, the keys are so smooth, it's so nice to type on, it has such a low profile, and the palm rest is just the right texture. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best keyboard I have ever had! Wednesday, December 31, 2008 John from Friendswood, TX
If you like to type fast this is an awesome keyboard. Low flat keys that respond fast. The lighted keys are a big plus and don't bleed light through the edges light my Saitek that this keyboard replaced. Logitech really makes a great high end products that are pricey but worth the extra $$$'s!

5 of 5 Great and useful Wednesday, December 31, 2008 sph3r from Orinda, CA
What can I say. It's a Logitech. Great quality, extremely nice and easy to use. It has same typing experience as lenovo thinkpad keyboard. You need a little time to get use to it, but after while You won't change it for any other keyboard. Backlit is very useful. Especially if You are like me a night user. I would really recommend it to everyone.
Cons: In my opinion is a little heavy. (makes it hard to break though) Was this review helpful?
