5 of 5 Great keyboard! Saturday, June 28, 2008 A Customer from Fremont, CA
I'm a big stickler for the ergonomics of a keyboard and this keyboard was great. Once I got it, I just plugged in the usb receiver and batteries and I was up and running. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Comfortable wave keyboard Tuesday, April 29, 2008 A Customer from Grayslake, IL.
Like all Logitech products I've used in the past, the Cordless Wave keyboard was a breeze to plug in and use right out of the box. The wave design of this keyboard IS very comfortable. The extra palm rest area and the key reach due to the wave design make for more relaxed fingers, wrists and palms during long days at the keyboard. If you spend lots of time at the keyboard, this deserves your consideration. It did not take me long to get used to this one as the majority of the keys are in the same spot as conventional keyboards. Key travel and feel are top notch! For web browsing, document processing and email processing on a daily basis...this keyboard is great! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Logitech Wave Keyboard and Mouse Wednesday, April 16, 2008 A Customer from Garland, TX
I have had the Wave now for about a month and I love it. It is very easy to use. No complaints. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Good but far from perfect Thursday, February 21, 2008 A Customer from Pittsburgh, PA
Maybe I'm too used to my laptop's keyboard. I actually type a lot slower on this Wave keyboard. But it is very comfortable. And I like the shortcut keys.
The mouse is a little too big for my taste. Again probably because I'm used to my old mouse which is about 3/4 of the size of this one.
But my main gripe with this keyboard and mouse is the RF receiver, 50% of the time when I plug the receiver into my laptop, both the laptop's keyboard and the wave keyboard would fail to work. Not sure why. And I would have to reboot my laptop to get everything to work again. Also when the wireless mouse has been plugged and unplugged from the laptop, the native touchpad's movement becomes unbearably slow. The software needs an upgrade to be able to restore the tracking speed when the RF receiver's unplugged from the laptop. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Solid product Monday, February 18, 2008 A Customer from derby, KS
Bought this to replace my sad old keyboard. My desktop computer connector was so worn out that the cable wouldn't stay connected anymore. This wireless keyboard and mouse work very well. The USB adapter plugs right in and things just start working right away. I didn't even load the drivers, and so am just using the standard functionality that the XP drivers supply.
The mouse with batteries on board is a little heavy and slightly clunky. Its designed to be used either right or left, and so doesn't have specific ergonomics for a specific user. I've been using for over a month, and haven't had to replace the batts yet, so the set looks to be pretty easy on these. I'll replace with rechargeable when the supplied Duracells die. 5 of 5 Comfortable and responsive Saturday, February 16, 2008 Glenn from Pacifica, CA
Interesting but comfortable design. Takes some getting used to over a MS Natural keyboard but I like it alot. The small wireless USB connector/transceiver worked out of the box actually in parallel with my old keyboard & mouse so shifting was EZ.
The mouse is nicely weighted and responsive; so good to not have wires to deal with anymore. The software utilities are very useful displaying on-screen status for the volume/mute & caps lock shortcut keys.
Between the mouse and the keyboard, I've got so many more shortcut buttons and keys than I've even used so far! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Logitech WAVE Wireless Keyboard Wednesday, February 13, 2008 J. Kielbasa from Reno, NV
This keyboard is exactly what I looked for and Logitech did not disappoint. They are the name to look for whenever you are researching wireless products and the Wave keyboard has been nothing short of excellent for me. Its shape makes it easy to use and doesn't strain any manual muscles. One of my favorite functions of the Wave is the ability to not customize "Hotkeys" but also the Media Player interface. I have a rather sizable music library in addition to a PC gamer, and I am able to play the next track in the playlist or pause the music selection without ever having to change application windows. The Logitech keyboard is EASILY worth the price tag and will just as simply amaze you with how you ever used a keyboard without the Logitech name on it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Logitech Wave Sunday, January 27, 2008 K. Breaux from Houma, LA
I researched some keyboards prior to purchase, but this one appeared to have the features I needed. I have carpal tunnel synd. & a cervical spinal injury which left me with nerve damage down my arm. So with this kept in mind this is why I need a natural fit. I believe my research paid off. The wave keyboard is truly a natural fit. My fingers reach the keys without my need to look down at all. They also stay in a neutral position at rest which causes much less strain. The mouse sits a little bit higher under the palm which allows more rest and the wheel allows you to scroll right/left by leaning it in your desired direction. They both respond quickly and are quiet. Very easy setup, drivers included on a CD.
ONLY MINUS I've found is the zoom button must really be for the newest OS. I have Win XP sp2 and it doesn't work like the ad shows. The keyboard would also be great for Media OS. I wish I would have known a discount price was right around the corner, like the $69.99 price now! I paid the regular price and do recommend it.

5 of 5 Overall great keyboard and mouse!!! Thursday, December 27, 2007 A Customer from Irvine, CA
The good:
I LOVE this USB adapter thing that it has. Where you can unplug it from it's usual home, plug it into a laptop or another computer and still be able to use your keyboard and mouse. SOOO much easier than unplugging the receiver with cord.
The software has worked great. I like that you can even use shortcut keys to create a click. Granted, this isn't their problem, but I don't like that I can't use it with my Win2K. Some of us are still on that y'know.
The value was great. After the rebate, I do believe I got it for $40. I bought 3 of them. I wouldn't have otherwise bought so many. At around $80, I don't think it's a value, per se, but it's still cheaper than others out there.
I am an admin so you know I type all day. The "wave" part of it, has been nice. Its not overdone, so it's easier to type when I'm at my desk and doing multiple things at once. Sometimes with the other ergo keyboards, it's hard to type one handed, or while doing other things.
The bad:
I dislike the right side button on the mouse. I am constantly hitting it to the point where I had to completely disable it. Which makes is useless. And I like having the two extra buttons.
No other bads, hence the great review and 5 stars. I gave "ease of use" 4 stars due to the button issue. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good, but not great Monday, December 24, 2007 PB from Alamo, Ca
I've owned many so-called "ergonomic" keyboards. This one is nice as the keys are splayed at a comfortable angle rather than an aggressive angle. Key feel is nice - the 'wave' is more gimmick than anything when it comes to the keys - it may help, but only marginally. Palm rest material isn't particularly soft - your hands don't notice that it is any softer than hard plastic as the "giviness" (is there such a word?) isn't very "giving". I would have liked a much softer ma |
