5 of 5 Great increase of camera capacity Tuesday, April 05, 2005 blackieh from Federal Way, WA
My digital camera came with an 8 meg compact flash card. It gave me 20 pictures. This new 256 meg compact flash card gives me 403 three-star (best) quality pictures, and a whopping 707 two-star (medium) quality pictures! My wife is going for a vacation of two weeks in Israel in June. Twenty pictures on the 8 meg card would have been eaten up in the first day. Four hundred pictures will mean she can take high-quality pictures of EVERYTHING! What a great upgrade for my camera! And the price was so right! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Card! Friday, September 10, 2004 Bob from Grand Rapids, MI
I bought this card about a year ago and have nothing but good to say about it. I have a Canon PowerShot G3 camera and from the moment I put the card in I was taking pictures. The card is relatively fast at 12x, I’ve never had to wait more than a few seconds at the high resolution setting on my camera to take the next shot. Very reliable, never a glitch. I just ordered the equivalent card in a 512MB model and I expect the same great performance. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

Purchased this Lexar 256MB 12X card for my Canon Powershot A75 3.2MP camera. It works perfectly, nothing to setup or configure. Just eject the old card and replace it with the new one and your done.
At the camera's highest picture settings (2048x1536 on Superfine mode) I got 18 pictures with the original 32MB card, now I get 155! I don't think I can take that many pictures before the batteries run dry. When I switch to the lowest quality mode (640x480 on Normal) I get an amazing 2731 pictures. You would have to take about two pictures every minute for an entire day to fill it up this way.
Highly recommended, especally at current prices. Was this review helpful?

All I can say is "WOW"! I've used one of these cards happily for several months at work in a Kodak DC280 zoom (we pd over $125 locally for the card) and was really excited to see it for sale at such a bargain. We can get over 400 top quality photos loaded with very little lag. Quality of photos is fantastic- if the USER holds still! We also use the card quite regularly to transfer large documents between notebooks and base computers- great for computers without a zipdisk.
And I couldn't believe that it arrived today less than 24H after ordering! We've purchased from Buy.com several times over 6 years with no problems. We bought a Kodak DC3400 (same as the DC280) a couple of years ago- absolutely love it. Placed on an professional mount, it's much easier for large hands to use. Can't wait to use this setup at home!
THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE! Was this review helpful?

Holds nearly 200 high quality pics using my Nikon Coolpix 4300 (4.0 megapixel). No issues thus far. Can't beat the price. Was this review helpful?

I was a little reluctant to get this memory. It was my first digital camera and I didn`t know too much about the "small details" like memory.
No reason to worry! I just put it in the camera and ... that was it! It fits like a glove and works like a charm!
I have a Nikon Coolpix4300 and I took perfect pictures. I was taking pictures and small movies for 3 hours and I still have left 120MB.
I am very happy about my purchase of my Lexar 256MB and I highly recomend it. Was this review helpful?

I got my Lexar 256 MB 12x card three weeks ago, and now it's dead. Really dead. The camera won't even power up with it plugged in. I've had no problem whatsoever with my SanDisk 256 MB for about a year now. Maybe I just had a bad luck with this one. Was this review helpful?

I just got a Nikon 995, put in the 256MB card. It says I have 160 shots at 2048x1536 at the Fine setting, and over 300 at the Normal setting. Very cool! Very fast too.
