5 of 5 LaCie Hard Drive Sunday, February 08, 2009 A Customer from Omaha, NE
Excellent product. Fast shipping, good price. Would purchase again. Using on older iBook with failed internal HD and it works perfectly as the boot drive. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great drive for MacBook Pro / Aperture Saturday, November 15, 2008 John Daly from Mechanicsburg, PA
Using this drive to store my referenced Aperture masters. I upload the raw's directly to this drive while keeping the Aperture library on the internal drive. The fw800 connection works great and is plenty fast enough to make adjustments, etc to photos. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Just the Best Available Tuesday, November 11, 2008 Walt from Winter Haven
This is my second LaCie Rugged Portable Hard Drive I have owned. I have carried a 40GB LaCie portable on business trips for over five years that is still working with out any problems. I needed additional storage space for my work while traveling on business. I bought Iomega portable, it had transfer speed slower than advertised, was clearly not made as well and caused me great concern about the data stored on the drive. I used once and put aside. In my opinion, the LaCie drives are the simply the best, fastest and most dependable portable drives available. A real deal if you want to trust your data will be there when you need it. 5 of 5 Rugged? You bet your . . . Sunday, October 05, 2008 nick2late from Buffalo, New York
This product has worked extremely well for me so far. I use it for off site recording sessions with my Pro Tools Mbox 2 and it runs flawlessly. Admittedly, its been dropped a couple times and gets knocked around in my bag, but hasn't given me the slightest sign of issue. The only complaint I have is that if you're going to use it on dual platforms (Mac and PC) you have to partition the drive. I have a Western Digital external hard drive and even a PNY jump drive for that matter, that doesn't require any formatting. Other than that, no complaints. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Everything I'd hoped for Friday, September 19, 2008 Michael Kahny from Delphos, OH
Love the size, speed, connection type (no power cord needed), simplicity. Just plugged it into my Mac computers and so far (1 week) it is working perfectly. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 AWESOME DRIVE!!! Tuesday, September 09, 2008 DLF from Abingdon, MD
Bought this drive to transfer image files back and forth from work. I've always loved the durability and reliabilty of Lacie! I love firewire 800. I've run Photoshop and videos straight from the drive! I bought the model with USB 2, Firewire 400 and 800, which makes the drive versatile in any setup.
My only regret is not getting a bigger drive! LOL
Also, wish it came with different colored covers. I've seen them, but don't know how to get them. Was this review helpful?
