Kodak EasyShare V570 Camera Review
DigitalCameraInfo.com
Published on: 1/31/2006 10:00 AM
The Kodak EasyShare V570 took its place at the front of Kodak's stylish V-line with 5 megapixels and a very distinctive look. The V570 is the world's first dual lens digital camera, so it has two lenses on its front face. Why two lenses? You simply can't fit 5x of optical zoom power in a non-extending lens in a camera body that is only 2 inches thick. So Kodak made two lenses that work together to achieve this. The result is the Kodak EasyShare V570....read the full review

5 of 5 great camera Tuesday, September 25, 2007
TD from Congers, NY

I am very happy with this camera. It is everything I hoped it would be and I have not had any problems with it at all. I find it very easy to use, unlike other cameras that my friends have. It also takes beautiful pictures, clear videos, simple to use... Purchasing this camera was a smart choice.

3 of 5 No Kodaks Best Tuesday, August 14, 2007
A Customer from Troy, NY
Overall, this camera was a disappointment. The quality of the pictures was not as good as an older model Kodak that I had, especially in the wide-angle mode. The flash is inadequate and the picture quality is poor under low light conditions. The default mode is the wide-angle mode everytime the camera is turn on and cannot be changed.

5 of 5 The Best overall camera Monday, August 13, 2007
Bob G from Clifton VA
Normally don’t write reviews but I purchased this camera when frist can out for my wife to use in real estate because of the wide angle lense. This is the 4th digital camera I purchased and by far is the best all round camera. My wife loves it. The wide angle lens is very usefully when shooting the whole room for real estate and for panoramic view in one shot or two shots. Its small enough to fit in our pocket and carry around every where. It takes great picture and the movie mode is almost video camera quality. Its very easy to use. Just don’t drop this camera on a hard title floor it knock the lenses out of alignment and needs to be retuned to Kodak for repair.

2 of 5 Poor picture quality Monday, August 13, 2007
Ari from Rochester, NY
I found the picture quality from the Kodak to be frequently poor, at least with the General Picture Taking Automatic Mode (without selecting a specific mode such as Night landscape, Beach, etc.). I find this particularly to be the case with indoor photos. Pictures are frequently blurry with strange lighting. Outdoor pictures have nice color but seem to lack some sharpness. I've read that for a 5.0 megapixel camera the pictures are a bit soft and are more like a 4.0 MP, which I think is actually a bit generous. My old Canon PowerShot 3.0 MP takes much nicer pictures in my opinion. The UltraWide lens is a really nice feature I wish that picture quality was average enough to justify liking the camera overall.

2 of 5 Poor quality pictures Friday, July 20, 2007
A Customer from Troy, NY
The picture quality is not consistent. Under low light conditions, it is difficult to get a good shot. I have an older Kodak single lens camera model CX7430 that takes consistently better pictures than this dual lens (professional lens) camera. The only positive features of this camera is the wide-angle feature and the thin size. In the wide-angle mode, pictures are consistently out of focus and the default setting when turning on the camera is the wide-angle mode which cannot be changed. I do not recommend buying this camera.

5 of 5 Great Buy Sunday, November 19, 2006
A Customer from NJ
All around great camera. It is so extremely easy to use (both taking pictures and getting them on the computer). I would highly recommend this camera to any one (it is much better than our last digital camera and so much smaller). It also comes with a dock which a didn't realize when I was purchsing, it can't get any better than that.

5 of 5 Love this camera Thursday, May 04, 2006
A Customer from NY, NY
Love this retro design. Menu is easy. I did not even need the manual to reference what I want in the setting. Just play around with it and you will find what you try to set up. I bought this because of wide angle feature. The stiched panorama feature is awsome. Boot time takes like a second and it's ready to shoot. Picture quality is very good - much closer to natural - compared to my other Canon which tends to over-expose a bit. The buttons are a bit clumsy to press. Other than that everything is fine.

5 of 5 Almost Perfect Saturday, March 11, 2006
Marc from Las Vegas, NV
This camera is very good in taking group pictures. The colors are vibrant except on low light. The pictures are kinda grainy at nights but other than that evrything is awesome especially the panorama feature.
