5 of 5 Works Great Saturday, August 01, 2009 R.t. from Warren, MI
The wife has used this for awhile and loves it, no more worries about running out of space when out shooting photos, thinking of another one for a future present. Was this review helpful?

This has worked great--it has decent capacity and isn't unbearably slow. I shoot with a Canon 30D, and the only time it lags a bit much is when I've been shooting three bracketed shots in a row with JPG+RAW at 8MP. Was this review helpful?

I don't feel completely qualified as yet to fully and finally comment on this product, but I'll say the following:
I have now used these CF cards in my Canon EOS Rebel XTi: SanDisk Ultra II 1.0G (9.0Mb/s transfer), SanDisk Extreme IV 4.0G (40Mb/s transfer), (product name I can't remember the branding on, but it's a 2.0G "hi-speed" card rated at 133x, just like the Kingston; 20 - 25Mb/s transfer), Kingston Elite Pro 8.0G 133x (20 - 25Mb/s transfer).
So far, none of my cards has failed me, and I put them through some stress in the camera (and between camera & card reader). The Kingston Elite Pro has so far performed as well as my other cards, and the transfer speed does not seem to be holding back the camera at all. Was this review helpful?

A super CF card and great value. I have two and they work flawlessly. Not the highest speed card available, but if your not shooting pro sports (I used to-in LA), they will work just fine. I use Nikon pro digital gear and these cards work perfectly. Hey, remember when an 8gb card was 2K. Not any more!!! Was this review helpful?

I use this card in my D300 camera, and it has performed well. I don't know that it would be the right card for sports photographers or others who might shoot a long stream of continuous exposures, but I don't do that, and it is the perfect card for me. I had purchased a cheaper 4gb card for a backup, but I plan to replace it with another Kingston 8gb. If you don't absolutely need a X266 card speed, save yourself a bundle and buy this one. I haven't had the memory card for long but so far, so good. It is not as fast as my Sandisk Ultra III 4GB but it seems to be a great card for the money. It holds a ton of pics and I shoot 13MB RAW files. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It simply works Saturday, January 24, 2009 Wayne from Edison, NJ
I bought it for my new Canon 5D Mark II. Since each raw is like 40MB, this card holds about 200 shots. The card simply works. No problem whatsoever. Was this review helpful?
