Kingdom Hearts 2 will be looked upon as one of the "must play" games on the Playstation 2, and while not perfect, original, or surprising, it IS very well put together, very polished, and it is very fun to play.

The original Kingdom Hearts was a wonderful mixture of the Final Fantasy and Disney worlds. It contained complex puzzles, tricky jumps that could cause you to back track a bit if missed, and bosses that could prove tough to defeat. In a way, this made a wonderful game perhaps a little too tough for its intended target audience.
The PS2 sequel, Kingdom Hearts II, has the same characters, an intricately detailed plot and overall attention to detail [though without complex puzzles], a very cool battle sequence and no challenge at all. This version, while interesting and worthwhile on its own might be a disapointment to those who loved the challenge, puzzles and depth of the original. For those looking for a fun game for younger video gamers who love the Disney movies, this might be a great choice. Was this review helpful?
