It works as advertised - I can control my PC which is in an adjacent room to the one I watch my TV in. We now use the media center often.

This remote was beyone simple to setup. I just plugged in the dongle to an open USB port and bam it worked flawlessly. My computer is not next to the TV, but on the other side of the livingroom (out of sight). This remote was the perfect solution because it is not IR. It works so well I find myself pointint the remote at the TV when using it (eventhough the TV is not near the puter). :)

Nice solution if your media center PC is one room and your output (projector in my case) is in another. Get the TV or movie going at the PC and take care of the rest from the media room. Works through the walls fine although I'm only about 25' away. Some others have noted that this is primarily a Media *Center* solution and that's true. It's not a substitute for a mouse and keyboard not is it intended to be. Having said that, it stills functions for playing and pausing in Media *Player* and probably has a few tricks up its sleeve that I haven't discovered yet. Now if I could just find the users manual I apparently already lost. Keyspan doesn't see fit to post one on its site

This works exactly how you expect it to. Good design, intuitive controls. I did have to move the receiver to the front of my computer to get a clear signal and it is a bit awkward to hold if you're channel surfing but I'm satisfied with my purchase. Makes it so much easier to watch TV and movies on my computer.
