I like this USB over IP technology, and I think Keyspan done a good job in putting out a reliable product. Very easy to use. The only thing I don't like is its casing, not very attractive... Was this review helpful?

I use mine in single user mode where it is dedicated to one machine. However about half the time when the computer is rebooted, the device is no longer responsive until it is power cycled. A real pain when the device is no where near where I am. Was this review helpful?

I got tired of messing with the limitations of print servers, especially on a Mac, so I bought this to connect my two printers to. It solves some print server memory issues with complex pages and allows me to monitor the ink/toner levels on both printers over the network.
One printer, an HP DeskJet 935C, works flawlessly, allowing me for the first time to use the official HP printer driver over my network. The other printer, a Samsung CLP-300, is another matter. While I can successfully print one job, the job stays in the print queue, preventing subsequent jobs from completing. Deleting the job or putting the job on hold doesn't remedy the issue; only manually disconnecting the network connection using the Keyspan USB server utility fixes it. Was this review helpful?
