4 of 5 Good, with a weakness Tuesday, June 17, 2008 Mark from Asheville, NC.
I've had two of these bags in 3-1/2 years. Both eventually failed when one of the handles broke. The weak point is the base of the handle, the part concealed by the case.
Otherwise, they protect the laptop well. There is plenty of room for accessories and supplies. The compartment on top for tickets is also quite handy. The case itself is quite durable. I travel with it at least once a month and it gets packed up and lugged around daily.
The only drawbacks I have found are the handle problem and the fact it is not the smallest or lightest bag on the market. That has to be balanced against its capacity. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Kinsington Contour Pro 17" laptop case Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Chris D from Las Vegas, NV
Excellent laptop case, even comes with an insert for use with a 15" laptop. It has numerous area's in which you can put items such as discs, mice, keyboards, cords, or various other items. Great product for a great price, from a great vendor. Buy.com is an excellent vendor. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Widescreen Case Monday, June 18, 2007 Jason from Pacific Junction, IA
This fits my HP 17" widescreen perfectly. The included carry case was a perfect fit, provides double protection, and I used it to just carry around my laptop when I didn't need the whole case filled with my accessories. The case is perfect for carrying around all of the needed accessories like power supply, wireless mouse, Lan cord, telephone cable, etc. I was also able to fit my books and notes easily into the case for my grad classes. The webbed drink holders on either end are very nice and velcro down when you are done so they don't snag or rip open. Loaded down, the bag is a little heavy, but it carries the weight relatively well and comfortably. This is perfect for someone who does not want a backpack and doesn't quite need or want a case on rollers. Once again, this fits my HP 17" perfectly, and that has been hard to do for under $100, so this is perfect for anyone needing a case for their larger laptops. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 nice case, but not very many instructions Monday, March 12, 2007 Jim Ramsey from Tallmadge, OH
I like the case it is very well made, but there is not much in the way of instructions on how to use all the pockets, etc., etc.
I think I'll be spending some time getting to know it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Bag, But a bit bulky Friday, October 20, 2006 A Customer from WA
The bag is great and well made. It has an inner bag that the notebook fits in very well but the outside is just a touch bulky. It would be nice if the inner bag had a small place for the power cord and adapter. Overall I would recommend this bag. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great item Wednesday, October 18, 2006 MDHudgins21 from Cookeville TN
This bag worked perfectly for my 17 inch Dell Inspiron 9300, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It was worth every penny, and if you are considering purchasing this item, stop thinking and do it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Lots of places for "stuff" Friday, October 13, 2006 A Customer from Tallahassee, FL
I like this carrying case. Unfortunately, it doesn't really hold a 17" laptop. That is, if you want all the padding and protection in the case, your 17" laptop won't fit. However, there is a case within the case that you can carry the laptop in, and if you take all the padding out of the outer case, the laptop and inner case will fit inside. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Definitely meets all expectations Friday, October 13, 2006 A Customer from Rochester, NY
This laptop case met every expectation I had based on the other reviews I read. I almost thought, for the price, can it really be as good as everyone was saying? But it is. The pockets are plentiful and practical. It doesn't leave much clearance with a 17" laptop, but it's got plenty of padding on all sides, so it's not an issue. It even has a smaller sleeve if you want to use it for a smaller laptop. It stands up on its own, so you don't have to worry about it falling over. There are zipped pockets, pouches, places for papers/folders... you name it. I probably don't use half of the pockets available. The ergonomic design is great too. It really does feel lighter than it looks. The shoulder strap is great, and even the handles even go together for a stronger safer grip. There's really not enough good I can say about this bag, especially for being so inexpensive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great bag Friday, October 06, 2006 Jett from Iowa City, IA
Strong materials and sufficient space for my inspiron 9400. I like the separate minibag that can be carried along individually.
Great value !

5 of 5 2 bags in 1 Tuesday, October 03, 2006 Amit Jain from Des Moines, Iowa
PROs-
The bag 'looks' good with lots of pockets etc to store stuff. The contour design means the curve in the bag so that when we carry it over the shoulder, the part where the bag touches the hip is contoured to fit with body and so is easier to carry.
The best part that I liked is it is equivalent to 2 bags in 1. In some trips, if I don't want to carry my laptop in hand, I can put it in the thinner padded bag inside and put it in the luggage.
Cons-
1) Shoulder belt is not detachable. Though there is an option to wrap around and store which is sort of okay.

5 of 5 Wow, CASE SOLVED! Monday, October 02, 2006 blight1 from Salinas, CA
This has to be the nicest laptop/mobile office case I have ever seen. It has more pockets, zippers, nooks AND crannies than I've ever seen in a bag! It swallows absolutely everything I throw into it and always seems to have extra room to spare.
I not only carry my 17" HP Laptop, AC adapter and cables, but I just added a portable wireless mouse, Canon Pixma I90 Printer with it's cables, and a Fuji digital camera. I also have several file folders, pens, hi-liters, notepad, batteries, cell phone, pda and their chargers. I still have several compartments that are not even used!
Oh well, I guess it's clear I like this case. I highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're a student or the business traveler. Hell, if you put less junk in it you could even use it for an overnight bag with a change of clothes and toiletries.
Go for this bag if you want a high-quality bag for a very reasonable price...you will not be disappointed. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better than the specs say! Wednesday, September 27, 2006 Armin Samii from San Diego, California

5 of 5 Wow.... What a bag Tuesday, September 19, 2006 Frank from NJ
I can not say enough about this bag, I have been looking for something like this for quite awhile. It holds everything I need for my laptop and more. When you first look at the bag it doesn't look like it will hold everything but it does. Each outter compartment has a little extra space so that the bag still keeps it's natural flow. The strap does help and keeps your shoulder from hurting. If only all laptop bags were like this. Was this review helpful?

This is really nice - I like the part where you can take out just the laptop in its own bag if that's all you need to take with you some time.
The shoulder strap is made of stretchable material and this reduces the strain on the shoulder when carrying the bag fully loaded. Was this review helpful?

I own a Tumi and a Bosca breifcase and yet I have not ever been as excited over a bag. This bag is made for business professionals in mind. I purchased a desktop replacement HP DV8000 with a 17" screen and found that this desktop replacement would not fit in any of my 5 business bags I own. I went online and researched a few bags and purchased this, I AM CERTAINLY GLAD I DID. Everyone comes in asking about my new computer and I end up gloating over this great new bag I purchased that protects the computer very well and has a contour and strap system that takes pressure off my back. I also love the slimline bag that holds the computer that fit's into the larger bag. The many pockets and compartments are great for gadget lovers such as me. You cannot go wrong with this great bag for the low price! Was this review helpful?

Like any good laptop bag this has numerous useful pockets and good padding for the laptop. The internal sleeve also doubles as a separate laptop case for independent use from the main bag just by attaching the main strap. The "countour" side panel really does relieve the rocking that a heavily loaded laptop case often exhibits as you walk. It easily swallows a big 17" laptop or even my super portable. It may be a little overkill on a small laptop but I can cram everything I need for a week or two of computing on the road and not worry about leaving something behind. This is the third one I've bought and it will be used as a backup as this is my favorite "big" case to date! No cheap flimsy plastic attachment hooks here. This case is very rugged but still stylish. It has closable pockets on the ends of the case that can be used as bottle holders or a cell phone holder if you prefer. The special airline ticket/boarding pass pocket is nice and is a great little catchall area when you don’t have a flight to worry about. My first case has seen about 18 months of use and about 150,000 miles of traveling and still looks almost new. I highly recommend this case! Was this review helpful?
