    The cable on this lock looks very strong and the plastic coat on the outside makes sure that it will not scratch anything else on your desk. The lock itself looks strong, however the "T" that goes into your computer looks cheaper than I expected. The lock itself feels strong though and able to beat anyone who is not determined or has the right tools to steal your notebook. For me, the lock is quick and easy to use and I have had no trouble locking or unlocking it to take my notebook off my desk. I bought this lock for my 15" MacBook Pro and I have not experianced any warping from using this lock. This lock also does not crowd the USB port next to it.
