5 of 5 Big bang, little buck... Sunday, February 17, 2008
A Customer from Fort Mill, SC

This is the third, and last, speaker for my Ipod I will buy. The difference was obvious before I even plugged it in. The device feels like a real speaker, and the sound didn't disappoint either. I had previously purchased smaller systems promising great sound, and came up empty in two attempts. Great product for the money. Highly recommended.

5 of 5 GOOD Sound ! Wednesday, February 13, 2008
vanessa from new york, ny
this product has pretty good speakers and is very sleek and stylish . people have commented on it when they see it in my house. my main reason for getting it was to plug my windows mobile phone into it but unfortunately it was'nt compatible with it, i knew there would be a chance that it wouldnt be compatible with all phones but i took a risk any way. I used it for my zune instead. so yeah i love it. so far its great. great price too. real fast shipping.

I was impressed with the sound that came out of this! I wanted something somewhat portable. My blackberry hooks up to this great.

4 of 5 ok for less than $50 Sunday, February 03, 2008
scott g from Fort Myers, Florida
Not quite portable for travel. Decent bass, lacks midrange, but can be tweaked with equalizer. When the price was less than $50, it was a good value.

4 of 5 It's ok for the price. Tuesday, January 29, 2008
A Customer from Houston, TX
Good: Value for the money Bad: Does not recharge on the cradle and sound is not as loud as I would like it. Ok for one medium size room.

1 of 5 Don't bother Tuesday, January 29, 2008
A Customer from Tenafly NJ
The price is so low because this is garbage. You won't return it because of the associated costs. Reading the reviews I get the impression that some customers are reviewing a different product. The bottom line is that the sound is awful. Perhaps there is a gross variation between individual devices.

4 of 5 Nice One-unit Speaker Solution Tuesday, January 29, 2008
A Customer from Denver, Colorado
I'm using my Jabra S5010 primarily as a portable DVD player extension speaker right now, and it's certainly freed me from the headphones and the crappy speakers in the DVD player. Sounds terrific, when properly placed. It does throw out quite an interference field, however, so using it with a radio is pretty much moot. A version with a remote would also be an improvement.

2 of 5 Great sound quality, HORRIBLE max volume Tuesday, January 29, 2008
Rahul from Arvada, CO
I bought these speakers to replace my portable kensington speakers (which used just a usb connection) as they didn't sound all that loud. I thought that since these were like 30w and used external power they'd sound much louder. But, to my disgust these are barely louder than my kensington speakers. Yea, sound quality wise they are way ahead. Just a couple of days ago I was watching a movie off a dvd on my laptop and at max volume I couldn't hear almost anything when playing the movie in cyberlink powerdvd. I have to use vlc media to get decent volume out of it (for some reason vlc does give a higher volume than other media players). I don't think I'd buy this again even if it were selling for 10 bucks.

4 of 5 Expected More...but not bad anyway Friday, January 25, 2008
brntorange from san antonio, tx
The Jabra 5010 with klipsch speakers is as advertised...very versitile with regards to connecting to various media due to the included cables. That being said, there is very little room to store the cable in use, and the rubble used to cover the storage area is not very secure. As far as sound goes...if it didn't have the klipsch name I wouldn't have been disappointed, unfortunately if you are familiar with klipsch products, this leaves you wondering why they would have put their name on this...average is not what klipsch is about. No way is this a $200 product, but for $40-$50 you probably will be satisfied with this product.

3 of 5 Sounds great. Low price. Easy to use Friday, January 25, 2008
A Customer from Hope Valley, RI
I was essentially buying this for a 5 year old with a non-ipod MP3 player. Why an MP3 play for a 5 year old you ask? Because he keeps scratching his CD's. All the universal speakers out there were either $10 and sound horrible or over $100. The price was that reason I bought this. Plus the fact that, in theory, it could recharge my Sansa e250. The Sansa recharges via USB and USB only. This thing has a female mini USB port for charging and adapters to connect it to other mini USB devices. There's no adapter to make it a full size female USB port which the Sansa needs. So, I'm out of luck on the charging side. Because of this, i'd send it back if there wasn't a 15% restocking fee. The sound is fantastic and we do have a battery operated MP3 player so he's using it with that until I can find an adapter.

5 of 5 Nice sound and nice looking Thursday, January 24, 2008
JR from NYC, NY
I own a CTA round speaker system that I use at work. It okay for background music as it it is a noisy office, Sound quality does not matter much. I wanted a speaker system for my kitchen. Mood music while I get creative! I searched Buy.com and stopped by this item Jabra S5010 Klipsch Stereo Speaker many times. After reading many reviews I bought it. As soon as I pressed enter Fed Ex was there. (The next day!) As I took it out the box I admired the workmanship it didn't sit flat on the table but on a pedastal. What were all those wires?! I soon sorted them out. And plugged it in. I own a Creative zen sleek photo 20GB. My taste varies. First came War a bass driven funky group. the bass was not earth shattering but is was crisp and sharp. Next Chris Botti the horn solo was breath taking and filled the kitchen. Then a string quartet, just beautiful, the voilins sweet and high with no distortion. You will have to adjust your equalizer inside your MP3 to appreciate the sound this speaker system puts out.I love it. Just wish it had a remote!

3 of 5 Disappointed! Wednesday, January 23, 2008
jesangt@yahoo.com from Greensburg, PA
This speaker had pretty good reviews so my expectations were pretty high. I bought this for my wife to plug her MP3 player into. We were using Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers in our kitchen. This sounded great, but we weren't crazy about seeing a subwoofer in our kitchen. After reading the reviews, I thought this unit may take it's place...wrong! There was no "kick" to the base and the unit simply doesn't get loud enough. My Altec Lansing PC speakers and my wife's boom box from the 90's put the Jabra to shame. Maybe this is an OK deal for $47.00, but this just wasn't what I was looking for. It may be OK at an office where you would have a low volume, but if you want to jam avoid this unit. I am sending it back 2 days after getting it and now have to pay S&H plus the restocking fee. Keep that in mind...you have to pay 15% restocking fee if you are not satisfied. One positive, unbelievably fast shipping. I received it the next day (PA).

Quality product. Build quality is great. Sound quality is great. A small remote would be nice. Otherwise, this works great with my kid's Zune.

5 of 5 Fantastic deal . . . fantastic product Monday, January 21, 2008
Darlene from Portland, Oregon
My three kids each have an iPod, but my husband and I both have Rio Carbons. I was looking for a product to put in my kitchen that has good sound and would play music from any mp3 player, not just iPods. We ended up buying two of these (one for the kitchen and one for our bedroom). We're all super impressed. They're sm
