The sounds out of this little thing is INCREDIBLE! I have two iPod Mini's and a 20gb clickwheel which i love, but I'm surprised by how good this thing sounds in comparison. The Bass output is much better and I love the feel of the buttons and over design. Apple is such an amazing company - one of the few which has actually put a smile on my face on a daily basis. This MP3 player lacks features but make up for it in performance. Sound quality on this little player is amazing.
I have the iPod and mini (sold the mini to buy the Shuffle) and the Shuffle actually sounded better than both of them. Very simple to operate and very long battery life. I bought it after testing it at my local Bestbuy store (bring your own headphones when you go try it out).
