Product Summary
| He plays by his own rules. He hates the pimps, pushers, creeps and killers that prowl our city streets. And he never fires a warning shot. Fred Dryer stars as the maverick police detective who along with partner Dee Dee "The Brass Cupcake" McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) brought a tough new attitude to television. Critics may have attacked its wild violence, but millions of fans embraced its extreme action, sly humor and sexual chemistry to make Hunter one of the most popular cop show hits in TV history. |

Editor's Note
The creators of the action series THE A-TEAM scored an even bigger hit with HUNTER, which became one of the most popular television shows of the 1980s. Like a small-screen version of DIRTY HARRY, Hunter (former football star Fred Dryer) is a tough guy police detective who believes in the philosophy of an eye for an eye. In an effort to curb his bad behavior, Hunter's superiors team him with beautiful and no-nonsense Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer), but the duo turn into the department's most effective crime fighting duo. HUNTER's success depended on the chemistry between its two leads, as well as hard-hitting action that stretched the boundaries of what could be shown on broadcast television. THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON contains 23 episodes, and feature Hunter and McCall investigating bizarre murders, a pornography ring, and busting a pair of international rapists.
