5 of 5 Does exactly what I need it to do! Tuesday, April 07, 2009
A Customer from Rockford, IL

I needed something so I could hook up my DVD recorder to my computer monitor and this is perfect! Keep in mind that two 3.5mm audio cords are needed for the entire set-up. Easy to set-up and easy to use - I love it!

5 of 5 Exceeded My Expectations! Monday, March 30, 2009
WD from Gardendale, AL
I have been on WebTV for 12 years, since I got a PC last September, I had ignored WebTV. I had made many friends over the years on WebTV in Newsgroups behind the WebTV firewall and there is no other way to get to the groups other than WebTV. I ran across the Grandtec GVC-1000 on Buy.com and thought I'd see if I could utilize the idle VGA input on my PC monitor. Not only did it work, it worked better than I ever imagined! The native resolution of WebTV is 640x480, the Grandtec GVC-1000 upconverts the 640x480 S-video input from the WebTV to 1024x768 at the VGA output resulting in a picture much better than I've ever seen on any TV that I ever had the WebTV hooked up to. I also plan to use it with VCR and LaserDisc players.

4 of 5 good product Thursday, May 31, 2007
A Customer from Rye, NY
GVC-1000 works exactly as advertised. Only complaint is that the video pass thru does not work automatically when powering on the device.

5 of 5 Nifty Little Box Tuesday, March 13, 2007
Emory from Temple, TX
It worked right out of the box. I was able to put it inline with my 19" LCD monitor that I have on my pc, and put an X-BOX 360 and switch between the two with out any problem. The only little problem is the audio, it needs a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cord to go from the PC to the box, then to the speakers that I have set up with my PC, that way when I switch sources the audio will go with it. But I did find one in the local Radio Shack and it works great. I also have plugged in an TI-99/4A computer in the RCA connection, and now I can use my VGA monitor with it. Any of the "old school" game systems, computers, etc. that use RCA video will work great with it. I would recommend this to any one wanting to get an old system working on any VGA monitor.
