 Editor's Note
Every show shows from the hit series FRIENDS is included on this release, making it is a great way to watch the laughter, tears, marriage, divorce, birth, death, and other themes of the show as it unfolds. Like all good things, the adventures of Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) sadly came to an end with season 10 of the show, but these episodes stand as a fine testament to a timeless comedy classic that considerably brightened up the television schedules during its 10-year run.

| | Professional Reviews | Currentfilm.com 10 of 10 "It's interesting to see how much the television landscape has changed since ""Friends"" first debuted in 1995. The combination of ""Friends"" and ""Seinfeld"" made for a wealth of copy-cats boasting attractive young, single people who discussed nothing and everything at once. Yet, those shows never really got it right - whether it was an issue with cast or a show that really put crafting jokes before crafting characters, ""Friends"" remains the only one of these shows left on the air - not only that, it's even more successful now than it ever was...""Friends"" has always been a very funny sitcom, but there are some real gems included in this first season." Reel.com 9 of 10 "When Friends debuted in fall 1994, sandwiched between Mad About You and Seinfeld, TV Guide complained, ""First came Seinfeld. Then came the new Ellen DeGeneres show. Do we need yet another pack-of-pals show? And while trying to appeal to X-ers, the show doesn't exactly flatter them by portraying young adults as sex-starved losers""...Make that loveable losers. While Friends couldn't have asked for a better launch slot, two years later TV Guide admitted, ""Last year, everybody tried to be NBC and create another Friends - even NBC."" But the well-cast sitcom has been a tough act to follow." - James Plath DVD Verdict 9 of 10 "Ross. Rachel. Joey. Phoebe. Chandler. Monica. For some of us these names and faces are as familiar as our own brothers and sisters. Since 1994 these Friends have made us laugh, made us cry, and sometimes made us angry with all their saturating marketing ploys (oh that theme song...get it out of my head!). What started as just another NBC sitcom soon rocketed to the top of the ratings, staying there year after year as we watched each character go though new challenges and struggles amongst the backdrop of New York City. In the process, the show turned six generally unknown actors into TV mega-stars...Come along with us as we find love, happiness, and Ross' monkey at Central Perk, the latte shop of your favorite Friends!" - Patrick Naugle
