This item is very helpful to me when I get stuck on a homework problem........I believe this item is for ages 11-18. And all the features makes this fly fusion excellente'.

costs too much for a kid and should be plastic and colorful. toddlers to college kids. its great for the boardroom and all writers in organizations and committees.

I purchased this and am absolutely obsessed. It is advertised for ages 8-14, but I am glad LeapFrog made it a nuetral gray color so it can be used by all ages without embaressment. It is extremely advanced technology and extremely helpful for homework, even as a college student, I use this every day. It has wonderful features, and many interesting ways to use it. Well I will say that this item is fun to look at, and the idea is ok, however there are some serious flaws that they need to address before trying to sell this. One big problem is memory, which they conviently leave out on their website. It comes with a whole 64 mbs, for you not so computer savy folks out there, thats like 2 squares of toilet paper instead of the whole roll. Now you can buy a memory upgrade, but that is only another 64 mbs for a whopping 128 mbs. Now compare that with your super low end mp3 player which has 512mbs, and for the price of this pen you could get a nice microsoft 2gig mp3 player. This pen isn't good for one application with that kind of memory, let alone all the functions they packed into it. The other problem is the same problem that computer voice software makers faced a few years ago: Recognition. You have to write a certain way, etc... etc... etc... just for it to understand what your writing. Don't plan on writing any faster than at a turtles pace with this thing. Save and buy your kid a zen or give them money and let them spend it, either way, your better off. If they come out with a 1+gig pen, then it would be worth considering, until then this is a high priced piece of junk.

This pen is good for people who have to type a lot of reports and aren't good at typing fast enough.

My best freind is not so smart.On her end of year tests she got a 65 the exact grade needed!her parents were afraid she was going to totally fail her test!after she got fly fusion pentop computer she retook the test in summer school and got an 87%.now she is great in math(algerbra) and loves doing her math homework!!!!

My grandchildren are 11 and 8 years old and this product has the ability to keep up with their learning needs for quite a few years which is a plus.
