5 of 5 Why can't the mainstream panel makers do as well? Monday, June 29, 2009
    Dennis from Middletown, RI

Although I had to pay extra to get a well designed stand for my Samsung display, it was well worth it.

5 of 5 Just what I was looking for Saturday, June 13, 2009
    amlenshe from Minneapolis, MN
I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this and very few mentioned using it with a 24" monitor. I've been using mine for about two weeks, and it is unexpectedly sturdy and easy to use. Installation took less than 10 minutes. It has enough height differential so I can switch to portrait easily. I was really skeptical that something so much less expensive than all the other stands would do exactly what I wanted it to, but it raises, lowers, and tilts easily, and it feels very stable and doesn't take up much space. I read one review that warned about the stand's instability before it's attached to the monitor and it bears repeating, be careful where/how you put the stand before you attach it, its center of gravity is weird before it has the monitor attached, and it's likely to fall over and hurt you or break something near you.

This is a well designed stand that works great in every respect. It comes with all the necessary hardware to hook-up any monitor that I have ever tried. The build quality is excellent also.

5 of 5 Great LCD Stand Thursday, April 09, 2009
    George from Jackson, NJ
Easy to install. Great functionality. It's very easy to switch between landscape & portrait. Just as easy to adjust the height and to swivel the monitor. Great product.

5 of 5 Simple, Good Quality, Affordable Monday, March 30, 2009
    JoeC from Stamford, CT
When one of our desktops' displays died, I dug an old NEC 17" flatpanel out of a closet. Unfortunately, since it had been attached to a wall mount, I could no locate the original desk stand. I ordered the Ergotron, since they made the wall mount that I had, which was itself very high quality. It met every expectation: solid construction, full kit of hardware, easy assembly. In addition, it is a pivoting stand, so (with add-on software like PivotPro or by finding the control panel function in many versions of Windows, you can rotate the monitor 90 degrees to portrait mode, and rotate the display output to match. Portrait mode is what I use 95% of the time. Think: documents and web pages....they are all like paper: longer than wide. Buy one of these and turn your world...not upside down, but sideways!

    5 of 5 Great Product! Saturday, March 07, 2009
    Rodd from Oklahoma City, OK
This is a great monitor stand to own for the long haul because it takes one important consideration off the table when shopping for a new monitor, i.e. the stand. Now you can buy a monitor based only on price and quality of the picture, knowing that you already have the most functional stand available, no matter what monitor you choose. I chose a 23 inch wide screen and it works perfectly! I couldn't be happier with the quality and sturdiness, as well as versatility of this monitor stand. The only thing I might wish for is that the base came in matte black instead of matte silver, but I'm sure it could be easily spray-painted with paint formulated for plastic if it really mattered that much to anyone. I think I got the best price available from Buy.com and it included free shipping.

    5 of 5 Excellent stand Saturday, January 31, 2009
Kevin from Kansas City MO Area
I bought 2 of these to replace a set of stands for a couple of 22" widescreen monitors I bought that didn't support portrait rotation. As other reviews mention, these are very sturdy stands, it's hard to tell by looking at the photo but you won't be disappointed. One word of warning, I pulled the stand out of the box and set it on the desk next to the monitors... bad move... the stand is top heavy (or more appropriately "back heavy") without a monitor attached and it fell over and about whacked my new LCD monitors (I could just visualize a gash in my nice new LCD monitor)... once you have the stand attached to the monitor though, it's well balanced. I'm not really planning on using the rotating feature, I just wanted Portrait monitors and even though it cost $95 to make that happen, that's still much cheaper than buying a dual head stand that would do the same thing.

    5 of 5 Perfect item Sunday, January 18, 2009
    Jeff from Wichita KS
This thing is great. It's far more sturdy than I expected from product photos online. It allows one-handed adjustment of the monitor's tilt, height, swivel, and even orientation (portrait or landscape, if you've never used portrait orientation you're in for a productivity-treat). There are no knobs or clasps to mess with when making adjustments, so it's a breeze to adjust at-will. Plenty big enough for my 22" monitor, and should even fit slightly larger monitors in both portrait and landscape mode. I rated all categories 5 of 5 stars accept for value, because $50 is a little steep for an accessory for a $150 item.

    5 of 5 It works. Sunday, January 11, 2009
    Ron from East Texas
Great, relatively inexpensive replacement stand. I had tossed the original stand for my LG 19" monitor then decided to donate it to a friend when I got my 24" monitor but I needed a stand for it. Since I have experience with Ergotron products I was very happy to find the Neo on sell here for much less than I could get it elsewhere. It assembled quickly and is very easy to use. And it's a good looking mount. If you need a replacement stand or need a stand with more features than the ones that come with most monitors, I highly recommend Ergotron.

5 of 5 Great LCD stand! Saturday, January 03, 2009

It was everything I was looking for at a great price. Fully adjustable with tilt, turn and swivel. You can even adjust the tension for heavy or light displays. I was impressed enough to buy 20 more for use in my business.

    5 of 5 Excellent functionality Sunday, December 28, 2008
    John from Gloucester, Va
This is an excellent product. First, it can raise the monitor off your desk, which can provide more space. Second (and the reason I bought it) is the ability to easily (no effort at all) turn the monitor from landscape to portrait and vice versa. Third, and not known to me when I bought the stand, you an also rotate the monitor from side to side -- again rather easily. I can't imagine what more someone would want from a desktop stand.

    5 of 5 Excellent Product. Sunday, November 23, 2008
    Dandy Walker from Chicago, IL
I bought this stand to be able to read PDF articles and books without having to scroll so much. I realize that internet surfing is much easier with portrait position LCDs. Works well for LCDs with 100 mm or 75 mm square back center. I am using it for a 19" Dell. The lift-and-pivot motion technology is useful with impressively smooth motion. Heavy and solid. Even the base will twist easily like a lazy susan. Highly recommended especially at this price.

My LCD is a Gateway FPD2275W, the stock stand that comes with it doesnt Neo-Flex I didnt think flexing was a bid deal but I was wrong Wish I had gotten this Ergotron sooner, I can now adjust the monitor freely and the best part is getting to see portrait pics as well as internet pages the way it was designed to be seen, the setup was easy and effortless, I highly recommend it! Buy it now

5 of 5 Great Solution for Dual Monitors Tuesday, September 23, 2008
    Jon from St Petersburg, FL
I work in a law firm and we set all of our attorneys up with either 17" or 19" secondary monitors on a Neo-Flex stand. They can now look at their primary monitor in landscape mode and open documents in the secondary monitor in portrait mode. This allows them to view/edit an entire page in a natural view without scolling. The Ergotron stand is the only affordable solution I could find to accomplish our setup and we're very pleased with it. The included hardware works well. The instruction sheet is a little misleading if you have to adjust any of the tension screws but, all in all, a small complaint. Also, if you have an older heavier LCD the tension screw may not tighten enough to keep the monitor down all the way. We encountered that with one older 19" Sony LCD. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it.

5 of 5 Excellent sturdy stand Monday, September 08, 2008

Like many others i purchased this stand to replace the cheap wobbly one that was included with my Emachines 19" monitor. To say the least i'm completely impressed with the stand and mount. I was up and running in 15minutes. The adjustment options are smooth and solid.

    5 of 5 Great stand Wednesday, September 03, 2008
A Customer from Bridge City, TX
I installed this on the BenQ 24" G2400WD monitor. It holds it like it was made for it, and portrait mode is possible. Very easy to install, and I didn't have to adjust any tension screws. Getting the monitor to the perfect height/angle was well worth the price of this stand. Also, being able to get the monitor up off the desk allows me to put stuff behind/under the screen unlike before.

    5 of 5 love it Monday, August 25, 2008
    -j from Durham, NC
This monitor stand is fantastic! It tilts, turns, lifts and lowers and is plenty sturdy. The instructions are easy to follow for adjustments and installation. I was a moron and turned the tension screw tighter to lower the monitor rather than loosen the screw. So I called Ergotron's customer service and they answered the call quickly, were friendly and immediately knew how to help. All in all, I'm VERY pleased!

This one is nice in case your LCD is heavy. I used if for my 19" wide Acer. I spent a very long time to tweak it to make it work for my LCD, otherwise I can never push my screen down and have to raise my head to watch it. Their customer services are nice and helpful!

5 of 5 Most excellent monitor stand Monday, July 28, 2008
    buy.com from Moorpark, CA
First, the shipping was so fast I almost had the stand before I paid for it! The stand is really sturdy and stylish. It rotates 90 degs so that I can see my 22" LCD monitor in portrait mode. It tilts and swivels easily. I really am happy with this stand. It bears the weight of the monitor without any strain whatsoever. It came with mounting hardware for both the 400mm mounts and whatever the smaller mounting configuration is. I will DEFINITELY come back to BUY.com for future purchases.

I was up and running in 10minutes. The adjustment options are smooth and solid. To be honest they could easily charge so much more for this stand. At $35 or $50, its a steal....

    5 of 5 Perfect Fit Sunday, May 04, 2008
    welmur from Boston, Massachusetts
I bought this Neo-Flex stand to fix my Sony SDM-HS75 Display and initially I was skeptical buying this stand because this display has frame attached to it and it's heavier than normal LCD display in its class ( 17 inches with 75 mm VESA compatible) owing to metal parts widely being used. Upon it's arrival I was quickly able to assemble this stand and fix it to my LCD display, and height can be easily adjusted with no efforts, easily rotates to 180 degree, turns to left or right along with the base stand but once attached I cannot put the display back cover on it. Overall it's very good stand that fits securely to LCD display and alleviated my neck PAIN!.

    5 of 5 Exactly It Sunday, April 27, 2008
    A Customer from Voorhees, Nj
This stand does exactly what I needed. I thought I would have to buy a monitor stand on an extension arm for over $100 because I wanted the ability to rotate my monitor for portrait work on websites and documents. This monitor rotates (90 degrees only) swivels 270 degrees (I don't really use this feature much) and you can raise and lower it. You can do all of these this with very little effort. I have an Acer 22" monitor on it. It also freed up some desk space because I raised the monitor enough to put stuff under it. This is my second monitor by the way. I have a 24" iMac as well. It was very easy to install and is extremely solid. This is not a flimsy stand. And all for only $35.

4 of 5 Nice for the price Sunday, March 02, 2008
    Brian from Pembroke, MA
I like the price and form-factor on this item. The only drawback is that it did not go high enough. This is partially caused by the monitor that I use it with. It has the vesa mounting holes closer to the top. To overcome this, I got a small piece of sheet metal and made a bracket to raise it all up about 4 inches and it works great. It cost me about $10 in materials for the sheet metal and screws.

    5 of 5 Why spend a Franklin? Tuesday, February 19, 2008
    distanceblader from Arlington, VA
Why spend a Franklin when you can get this monitor stand for significantly less than its competitors? I couldn't understand it either so I bought this Ergotron stand. After getting it, it took me all of 10 minutes to get my monitor hooked up. Definitely recommend it, that is unless of course you feel the need to spend more for the brand name :)

    5 of 5 Great value Tuesday, February 19, 2008
    A Customer from Cumberland, MD
Ergotron Neo-Flex LCD - Black/Silver monitor stand is an excellent value. At first I thought it looked somewhat unsubstantial but decided to give it a try since there were not too many other options for the price. The stand turned out to be much better balanced and sturdy than I would have thought. Very good product even for a large heavy flat panel monitor.

5 of 5 not too fancy, not too simple Saturday, February 09, 2008
    A Customer from Urbana, IL
Cons: this will weigh more than your normal LCD stand, so make sure that your desk can support a few more pounds. Cannot be manipulated easily to move away/towards you. Pros: It is amazing that there is so much functionality in so inexpensive a buy.

5 of 5 Best Monitor Stand Available Thursday, January 31, 2008
A Customer from San Francisco, CA
I purchased this Ergotron monitor stand to replace the useless one that came with my 22" Samsung SyncMaster 2220WM. This is one awesome stand for two reasons. First off, it's very reasonably priced unlike the other stands out there. Secondly, it swivels and twists in all directions with nothing more than a simple pull/push from your finger.

5 of 5 not fancy, but does what it does very well! Saturday, January 05, 2008
    John from upstate NY
I bought a slightly older version of this stand last fall from one of the large office supply chain stores. (My version has a slightly larger solid base versus the "ring" base on this model). I've been very happy with it. The trade-off as I see it is that while this stand doesn't do much, it's also a LOT cheaper than the others out there. However, it does not seem to be cheaply made. It feels very solid to me. The principle reason I got this stand was to allow me to easily rotate my LCD from landscape to portrait mode. It does this smoothly and easily. The other adjustments for height, left/right rotation, and angle of viewing I use much less often, but they work just as smoothly and easily. If your needs are simple and your LCD display is not too big (mine is 19") and supports VESA attachment, then I would have no trouble recommending this display to you.

5 of 5 Takes longer to unpack than attach Thursday, December 13, 2007
    A Customer from Brookfield, CT
The stand feels sturdier than I'd expected. Only six screws in total (two for the base, four for the monitor) to attach it to my Samsung 226BW. I haven't had any problems adjusting it to any height. Between the height and tilt settings, I've been able to get it to the exact placement I wanted, unlike with the supplied stand from Samsung. The only thing that could have been clearer would have been an explanation about why to choose which set of screws for the 100mm install.

Simple design with quick installation. Adjusts easily for height, tilt, pivot and rotation. By the way - a 20" LCD pivoted into a full page vertical display is taller than you might expect buts still works just fine on this stand.

Solidly built, and flexibe. Easy to raise, lower, tilt, and rotate the screen. I matched it up with the Ergotron Neo-Flex Notebook stand and it's a great combination for my home office.

I bought this to replace a non height adjustable AOC 20" LCD stand. Works well, easy to install. Recommended.

    4 of 5 almost perfect... Monday, March 19, 2007

easy to assemble, well-designed, great aesthetic. only problem i had: the dvi cable has a "cylinder" sort-of bump at both ends, and would not fit thru the opening in the base..! but a great stand; recommended.

5 of 5 Best Stand, Great Buy Tuesday, August 22, 2006
    j.j. from nyc
I have to second everything the previous reviewer said. The delivery is super fast, the set up is quick and simple; the stand is sturdy yet smoothly adjusts height and tilts, and the pivot function makes the monitor into a great reading screen. This is a great buy for anyone who is unsatisfied with the standard monitor stands, but hesitates to spend 3 digit dollars for a professional monitor mount. And Buy.com has the best price, even when one includes the shipping costs.

    5 of 5 Simply Great! Thursday, August 10, 2006
A Customer from College Park, MD
I was looking for "LCD arms" when I found this item. But this is much more affordable (about half the price) and works no less effective. It assembles in less than 10 minutes, and can rotate like I wanted. If you read a lot and hate to scroll through pages of html or pdf, I'll recommend you to try this. By the way, this might be an exception but it ships amazingly fast - I ordered it yesterday and now I am already using it! From Amazon I had to wait at least a week to get something, if the shipping is free.
