4 of 5 Very Nice Sunday, December 21, 2008 Steve Kaye from Seneca SC
Sturdy. Monitors tilt in tandem. My decision to buy was based on the fact that the monitors tilt together which is a feature that I really wanted. Engineering is first class as reflected in the price. Easy assembly.
BUT: Does not get low enough. Big footprint. Had to shim to get monitors to line up. This Ergotron LX2 is the most over-engineered monitor mount I have ever seen. The variable spring loaded“ friction” system that allows instant height adjustment of 5” is an example of over-engineering but it is neat. Total adjustment range is good but I wish it would go a little lower. From the bottom of my 22” Acer the lowest it will go is 5” above the desktop which is not quite low enough (I had to raise my chair to compenstate I’m 5’9”). It will rise up to 10” which is really too high. I have the feeling that I paid a lot for the adjustment system that is unnecessary because I will only adjust it once in my lifetime. A simple friction lever would have worked while taking off a lot of weight. This mount weighs in at an amazing 32+ LBs!!
The only reason I am not giving this 5 Eggs is the huge footprint. Front to rear the mount stick out a full 16” from the wall leaving little desktop space in front. At 19” wide the feet forced my mouse way out to the right. Overall I am very happy

5 of 5 Better than expected - top quality. Sunday, October 19, 2008 Brent from Atlanta, GA
This is all around great stand -- easy assembly, solid construction, and excellent adjustment range. Like other reviewers, I was really surprised at the weight (even without the monitors installed), but that is not a negative. Even the free shipping option from Buy.com got the stand to me in less than 5 days! If you are considering dual monitors, this is the stand and Buy.com is the place for you. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Satisfied! Thursday, September 04, 2008 A Customer from Kingwood, TX
The Ergotron stand arrived much faster than expected, I paid for standard shipping but it arrived withiin 2-3 days. It was in good condition and very easy to assemble. A little bit heavy but a lot of weight for the money!
Greetings from a satisfied customer!

5 of 5 Fantastic Product! Worth every penny! Sunday, May 25, 2008 CompTechPro.com from Salt Lake City, Utah
I had been comtemplating about purchasing this item for about a year. I watched the price drop, reviews report good and bad. Finally bit the bullet and just purchased it. Buy.com offered FREE SHIPPING and I upgrade to 2-day select for another 6.95. Arrived within the 2 days as promised and was everything I expected PLUS more! I personally purchased this for the DUAL 22" screen option, the screen alignment (side by side), and the screen height/angle adjustment. Worked out PERFECTLY, took a little time to put together (with some help from the instructions), but was fantastic!
On a side note: this things is BIG and HEAVY! It has to be heavy to be able to with stand the weight up "up to 2 22" screens". It takes up ALOT of space on my desk. I had the room for it in my rather large office with office desks, so it worked out for me, but if you have a standard narrow office desk, expect it to absorb the ENTIRE desk.
If you think this solution will at all work for you, do not hesitate to buy it.
Great product, happy customer with Buy.com & Ergotron.
By the way, Ergotron dominates the ENTIRE hospital field for screen mounts and work stations. If ALL hospitals will purchase their ENTIRE product line, so will I. Was this review helpful?

I love this thing. As one of the other reviewers said, it is HUGE and HEAVY. It eats up most of my small desk and it was a little acquard setting it up until you had both montiors on there to counterbalance the heavy back. Make sure you read the specs so you can visualize how much space it is going to take up on your desk.
I searched long and hard for a reasonably priced dual monitor stand and this is by far the best value out there. Solidly built and it definitely lives up the the brand name of being ergonomic. One of the other viewers said that the stand does not swivel which is true but each individual monitor will swivel. Although you won't get as much swivel as you will on a single stand, I find that it has enough to get the monitors angled just right. Once you get the torque settings right on the pivot and up and down motions this thing is great. Easy to adjust making it great for a set up with many different users who may have different preferences. I have it set up with two 22" Samsung 226bw monitors.
You really can't go wrong with this stand. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Exactly what I needed! Wednesday, January 30, 2008 A Customer from Hightstown, NJ
I work with two 19" monitors and wanted get the monitors at a better viewing angle without breaking the bank. I saw other products with articulated arms going for $400 but this was more than I wanted to spend and I don't like products that clamp onto my desk.
Anyway, I opted for the 2 monitor version of this product and it is great! It is constructed very solidly, holds the monitors perfectly as if they were one monitor, and only took about 15 minutes to setup. The two monitors are clamped to one metal arm which slides up and down very easily about 12" and can also rotate up and down. However, the stand does not swivel nor can the monitors be adjusted independently as with a dual articulated arm setup. If you need to often swivel your monitors or move them independently then this stand is not for you, otherwise I highly recommend it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 More than expected except how big it was Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Amherst, NY
I am happy with the purcahse but the LCD monitor stand was definitely bigger and heavier than expected. Do not get me wrong, I prefer it especially when I connected the 2 17" LCD monitors. Easy to setup and assemble. Only issue is that it is meant to be in one spot (I thought about using it as a presentation Monitor PCs for tradeshow, etc.)

First it was to buy dual monitors...
then to buy a stand to help balance it out and even them out.. I have them with 2 19" AOpen 2925 and they were great for the price. It works so well I double dipped and got another set for the wife.
It's great to play World of Warcraft and be able to have one screen playing and the other looking stuff up on thottbot. I can even turn the screen so that I can show it to my wife... Was this review helpful?
