I have always wanted to print larger pictures. I thought the 1400 printer would not fit what I wanted. It is truely an amazing printer. The color is just breath taking. I would still like to print 16 x 20 inch or larger but for the price and quality of my 13 x 19 inch pictures. I truely did not do wrong by choosing this printer. There will be many pictures on our wall that most people will believe we had to pay to have done. Just a great printer. Was this review helpful?

I have owned the printer for a couple of months, and have printed approx. 100 11x17 sheets in that time span, with no problems and great results. The colors turn out beautifully and the print quality is superb. Every once in a while a sheet needs to be re-fed, but that's about the extent of the problems I've had. One other thing to note-the ink is not incredibly available at office supply stores. I was finally able track it down on the shelf at a Circuit City, but not until I had tried several other stores first. Now I just buy on-line and keep reserves handy.
I love this printer! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-quality, large format printer. Was this review helpful?

I bought this printer to replace an HP1200 that I had used for 4 years and had started to misfeed photo paper and card stock. I had not purchased an Epson printer since the days of dot matrix and did not know what to expect. Sadly the printer arived at 6PM CDT and was DOA. I had to contact Epson at 8PM and to my surprise they were there to help me. As the printer would not work they FedExed me a replacement the next day. This one started up and handled every paper type I threw at it. The photo quality is first rate as I had expected although not as fast as my Pixma8500. The support from Epson all that I could ask.
