Frank Zappa once suggested that a fascination with the notion of love is the worst thing that ever happened to Western pop music, but the fact remains that every era has had its ballads and love songs because, well, it's the one subject everyone seems to have a stake in -- be it happy or sad. This massive set collects 150 love songs from the 1980s, and like all the Time Life sets, it comes attractively assembled and with great sound.
