I found the dvd quite useful when calibrating my old Projection TV. My Samsung LN-T3253H wasn't too bad out of the box to begin with but I calibrated the system and wasn't quite happy with their settings so had to adjust it to my specific taste. Overall it works quite well on all TVs but those calibrations seem to work best on the older TVs IMO.

Very good for tweaking your HDTV to get maximum viewing experience. DVD menu is a bit cumbersome to navigate, but once you get used to it you can just jump to the part you want easily.
