5 of 5 Dawson's Creek Geek Friday, August 27, 2004 lori from Georgia
For the Dawson's Creek geek in you, this is a must have DVD boxed set in your collection. This is where it all started and quite possibly, this is the best season of Dawson's Creek there is. Who can resist the sexual tension build-up between Dawson and Joey? Their desire fuels the viewer to watch each episode until you finally get to the last disk. I myself have chosen to prolong the pleasure and not watch the final episode yet. I'm not sure if I'm more worried that it's the last episode of the season, or if I'll be crushed when I find out what happens in Season 2. I'm still debating if I want to purchase Season 2 based on the fact that the sexual tension will dimish a bit. Also, the new characters are more annoying, than endearing to me. I could do w/o the brother sister combo that moves to town. I know kids deal with gay issues or depression....but do we really want to watch that pain? I'd prefer to watch a show that is a bit more on the entertaining side, rather than depressing. That is just my opinion. I will review Season 2 if I decide to suck it up, purchase it and watch it. If you can, let me know if Season 2 was worth watching in a review there (or here if you prefer). Anyhow, SEASON 1 is a MUST HAVE!! Was this review helpful?
