3 of 5 Will not support WPA as advertised. Sunday, May 13, 2007
    Zac from Metairie, Louisiana

Advertisement specified it would support WPA. When configuring it asked about WPA and accepted the setup for WPA. However would not work. When I finally got to DLink support, I was told I had to reconfigure to WEP. When I asked how to reconfigure the LINKSYS wireless router I was told that I had to call them. Their tech support is non-existant as far as I am concerned. I personally will not order from D-link again. However once I reconfigured both the D-Link adpater and the Linksys router, it seems to be working ok. But I am only transmitting about 8 ft. at this time.

5 of 5 Great product, great price Thursday, April 12, 2007
A Customer from Yuba City, CA
I'm VERY pleased with the D-Link DWL-G510 wireless PCI adapter. I first bought it because it is one of the few I've read about that includes a low profile bracket for mounting in the compact form factor systems (I needed one for a small form factor Dell GX150 system). It was easy to install, instantly recognized in Windows XP and connected flawlessly to my Linksys wireless router. I was so impressed with it's performance and ease of installation that I bought two more to setup a wireless network for a client using Vista. The price is very competitive also. I would recommend this adapter card (and any D-Link products) to anyone needing an easy to use, reliable wireless card.

5 of 5 Great value and compatibility Monday, April 09, 2007
    Chris from Boston, MA
I just picked up a Dell Dimension E520 which didn't have an option for a wireless card, so I picked this card up as a nice, cheap budget solution from a big name brand. I was lucky and got the B1 revision, which is natively compatible with Vista. Performance has been quick, although the range is somewhat limited. I'm in a two story house and am roughly 50-60 feet from the router and get a decent signal (3 out of 5 bars). My download speeds can go up to 700kb/sec depending on the download site on a Comcast 6Mbps cable modem. I didn't have to install anything extra, it worked out of the box, although until I updated my drivers, I was getting poor signal (1 out of 5 bars).

    5 of 5 Quick setup Wednesday, February 28, 2007
    A Customer from Flint, MI
Physical installation is a breeze. The product auto-detected my pre-existing wireless lan, which was excellent...but I've been having problems with the software configuration utility itself. Overall, great product!

It's working very well so far. Easy to install and use, the AirPlus Utility is a little confusing though. Worth the price.

Very, very easy to install. Great performance. My unit is hidden in a built in desk approximately 70 feet away from my Linksys wireless router & I have not experienced any disconnects. I would definitely recommend this desktop wireless card. Super fast delivery!!!!

5 of 5 Good working Card Thursday, May 04, 2006
    elementalcobalt from Kenosha, wisconsin
This is a good product, had no troubles with it. I went ahead and bought the bigger antenna with it but have used it without too. It works for exactly what I need it to do. Installation was easy and I have experienced no problems with this card. Wireless occationally drops signal, but I am guessing it is because of the network I am at rather than the card itself, and will test this more fully when I get home and set up my own network
