5 of 5 Libraries need this Monday, March 23, 2009 A Customer from Central Square, NY
This printer allows me to create spine lables for books in a fast, efficient manner. I use it with 1 x 1 1/2 " lables in portrait configuration and it works like a charm. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent, Reliable Product Monday, March 23, 2009 Frank Beacham from New York, NY
I wore out a Dymo Turbo 300 and recently upgraded to the newer Turbo 400. It just works. For printing address labels, it's the best available. I use it on a Mac and find the software and hardware to be durable and reliable. Also got an excellent price at Buy.com. Was this review helpful?

This is a great product for the money. Easy to set up, easy to use. We are using it for our soap labels. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well on Mac Monday, June 02, 2008 RB from Newbury Park, CA
I use the LabelWriter Turbo 400 mostly for file folder labels and then for Christmas letters. Dymo didn't update old LabelWriter EL software to work with Mac OS Leopard so, although the printer worked fine, I was forced to buy a new one.
I have to say, the new one is nice. Super fast, and it will print postage if I ever want to do that. From within the Dymo software, I can also choose to print contacts from my Mac Address Book. Nice. Other than that, the software is virtually unchanged. Too bad; it could have used some interface improvements. But it works well enough.
My intent is to plug this into my Apple Base Station Extreme router, but right now it's shared off my iMac. Works well printing from laptops. Was this review helpful?

I purchased two Dymo 400 Turbo's and one Twin Turbo for my office after years of frustration with rentals of both Neopost and Pitney Bowes postage meters. The cost of all three was not much more than the cost of one year of rental (at the steeply discounted introductory rates) of a single Neopost or Pitney Bowes postage meter. Now we can print postage from any of the three label printers, all from the same postage account, and can immediately refill postage as needed with a couple of mouse clicks. The ability to print other labels is simply an added bonus (since changing the labels is a little bit of a hassle, if you want to print both postage and labels on a regular basis, I highly recommend the Twin Turbo). 5 of 5 Very good for our purpose Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Buffalo, NY
We use this printer for chart labels and it works flawlessly. Speed for us in not an issue as we only make one label at a time.
I do hope it last longer than the 330 Turbo which died just out of warranty Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice printer but blue light has to go! Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Ken C from Hagerstown, MD
I purchased the printer for printing stamps and it worked as expected. The free stamp printing ability sold me on this printer; otherwise I would have stuck with my brother label printer. The little blue light on the front is absolutely useless and is nothing more than a temptation to press it. You would think it was a power button, but it really advances the label - hold it and bad things happen. The printer does need a power button to at least turn off the blue light. Paper loads easily and the tear off was more reliable than I thought it might be. Price was a bit high however I did purchase one. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 An office must have! Saturday, May 12, 2007 Guy from Fairfield, IA
I love this machine. I use it mainly for labeling files, printing stamps (this is a great feature), and address labels. It's fast, easy to use, works well with my Mac address book.
I purchased the extended replacement plan. I owned one of these a few years ago and the power supply burned out after 2 years and Dymo couldn't repair it and offered me a new one for $100.
I didn't use to buy the extra warranties but these days nothing seems to last that long and when it breaks out of warranty, repair may not be possible or it may be close to the cost of new one.
I have no idea if the new models are more reliable so I got the extra warranty. This makes it more expensive hence I marked down the value.

I love this little printer, I especially like the fact that I can print postage, it makes it very nice considering I live out in the country and its an hour trip to town if I had to go to the post office to mail a package, but it was easy to install right out of the box, I had a few problems getting the "Stamps software" but at least they gave me numbers to call, and the tech support people were very friendly and helped me out, I like it when you can actually get ahold of a real person that is willing to help youthis is a great product for any small office or someone like me who mails stuff all the time and hates to make that trip to the post office Was this review helpful?
