Easy to setup. Only complaint is when used with land line phone has a bit of echo /distorted sound. Works great with cells.

5 of 5 Got it working after some effort... Sunday, August 02, 2009
Randy W. from Phoenix, AZ
Like others, I experienced the flashing lights and failure to charge with my handsets. The key is to get the phone to initialize before you charge it - let it charge for a few minutes then take the handset off the cradle. Enter the date and time as fast as you can (doesn't have to be accurate, you can change it later). Get it back on the base before it dies. Then the phone will charge without flashing. Once you get one handset working, the other will initialize automatically. Great device and I'm very happy with it!

4 of 5 Overall good buy Wednesday, July 29, 2009
John from Montgomery, AL
Overall a very good and useful product. Only con is signal on 1.9 GHz doesn't have the range of 5.8 GHz cordless phones. Single additional handsets are avaiable. However, it's cheaper to just buy another 2-handset system and use the handsets with the first unit. You can register 6 or 7 handsets with each unit. It appears this model has been discontinued and replaced by 28128 and 28129. Don't know if these handsets will work with new bases or if new handsets will work with 28127 base.

4 of 5 Great, but Hope You Aren't Counting on an Addition Thursday, July 23, 2009
Shelle from 60046
Everything good was pretty much on target. Make/receive calls is awesome... I'll be kicking AT&T out in a few weeks I think. However, something that does bite is that according to the company who used to handle Thompson/GE's online sales, they never made the additional handsets to go with it. Of course, I need one more handset. If anyone knows of one that for sure works with this unit, please respond.

5 of 5 Worth the price and works great!!!! Thursday, July 16, 2009
Manish Joshi from Colonia, NJ
I had too many questions before buying the product as whether it had Phone line Jake or not as the description mentioned "No Jack" technology. Also whether it would work with VOIP phone such as Vonage, MagicJack etc. But all these questions got answered by itself once I did the initial installation and charging the battery. As instructed I charged the battery for 16 hours and as said by other users the handset started flashing which worried me but I ignored the flashings and let it do its job as mentioned in the manual to avoid battery being compromised and as close to 16 hours constant charging I see the Date Time settings came up and also the flashing stopped on its own and there you go..................Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!

5 of 5 This Solved a Cell Phone Problem for Me Wednesday, July 15, 2009
A Customer from Rohnert Park, CA
What do you do when you live in a large or two story house and you and you and your wife each has a cell phone and you get calls on both and you don't like missing calls and you don't want to wear a cell phone in the house. The answer ... buy this product! Not only does it solve all those probles elegantly, but you also have the benefit of being able to made and receive calls with greater voice clarity. The only drawback is that one needs to have the cell phones fairly near to the base unit. (It seems that the distance for my phones is about 20 feet.) This means that the base unit must be located where there is power and where it will be somewhat close to where your cell phones rest while they are at home. This may preclude, as it does with me, plugging the land line into the base unit. For me, this is no problem.

5 of 5 TERRIFIC Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Michael H. from Simi Valley, CA
I live in an area where cell reception is not that great. The only part of my house where I get cell reception is my upstairs bedroom so everytime my cell rings, I have to rush up the stairs to pick up the call. Well, not anymore... With this phone, I can pick up my call anywhere in my house! There is no static, dropped calls, and I can even set it so that it rings for both landline calls and cell calls, each with its own ringtone. A really fantastic item! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

5 of 5 Prefect solution for cell fusion Friday, July 10, 2009
ARC from Houston
With this purchase i got a perfect solution for my problems with cell coverage etc. In my home i have very bad cell coverate in most of 1st floor. With this one i can have the cell connected to this where a good coverage is there and then this phone will allow me to take the calls from any of the 2 phones. Sound clarity is good and battery life is also good. It connects to one land line and 2 cell phones and you can manage all 3 calls from a single phone. It also eliminates the worry about cell phone radiation (if any!?).

1 of 5 All lights are flashing on this phone!!! Wednesday, July 08, 2009
NoHappy from Albuquerque, NM
I followed the instructions to let it charge for 16 hours. I woke up in the middle of the night to find out that all the lights (blue screen and red LEDs) on the phone are flashing! I couldn't stop it! I disconnected an reconnected the battery and let it charge again. After few hours it did it again.

1 of 5 ! Tuesday, July 07, 2009
Kent from Atlanta, GA
Left them in charger overnight, woke up to blue lights flashing. Will not initialize, and instructions give no insight as to error codes. Cordless phones should not be this difficult!

4 of 5 Works great, wish it could at least let you know y Tuesday, July 07, 2009
Ryan from Henderson, Nevada
Just opened this up whe it came in last night and it is great! You can switch between the landline and up to two (2) cell phones connected via bluetooth! Another reviewer stated that the phone did some weird things out of the box, like it kept resetting, mine did the exact same thing. I took the batteries out and let them sit for 10 minutes, put them back in and let the phones recharge on the base without touching them. The only downside, which I would have still bought these anyway, is the fact that the phones do not let you know if you receive a text message, so you still have to make sure to check your cell phone for those. If you don't text then this is a total non-issue and for those people, I would give this product a perfect five (5) stars. So here is the big tip, put the battery in, and just put it right onto the charger base for 16 full hours. After that, then set the clock, etc.

1 of 5 POS worked for 5 minutes Tuesday, July 07, 2009

Went dead acting like the batteries didn't charge tried 3 times and 3 days letting them charge overnight. They never worked again. Great concept and possiblities but the product shouldn't be on the shelves.

5 of 5 Good phones, minor trickey setup Sunday, July 05, 2009
Eric from Austin, TX
Instructions indicated they need to charge for 16 hours or battery life is compromised, so I put them in their chargers and left them. A couple hours later, I noticed they were behaving oddly in their chargers, continuously re-initializing. I probably should have set the date, time first with the charge it shipped with before the 16 hour charge. After that, I am very pleased with sound quality, bluetooth connectivity with my iphones. I like that I can add a contact to one of the phone's address book and transfer it to the other, so I did not have to re-enter it all on the other phone. So far, I really like these.

5 of 5 Great Value Cordless Bluetooth Phone Thursday, July 02, 2009
A Customer from Henderson, Nevada
This is a great phone. I have two cell phones and 1 landline. Now I can combine all of them into one single phone. I can accept and make calls from any of my phones (1 regular land line and 2 cell phones via Bluetooth). Reception is pretty good. The only downside, it doesn't have a voicemail.

5 of 5 Terrific value Sunday, January 18, 2009
Greg N. from Elizabethtown, PA
I had been searching for a cordless phone that was wi-fi capable for my Asterisk phone system in my home but they were all too expensive. This set of phones is even better because I paired my wife's cell phone and even when she never takes it out of her purse she doesn't miss calls because it also rings the two cordless phones; one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. I have not had an issue with range or call quality as yet. I would recommend these phones to anyone who is looking for something more high tech than standard cordless phones.
