I got this to upgrade my internal wireless that was 54 Mbps and its a major improvement to 108 Mpbs! Compatable with my router thats also a D-link. Alls good with the exception of a buzz noise I get?!? Was this review helpful?

Works out-of-the-box on my dual-boot laptop: WinXP / Linux (Ubuntu 8.10). Supported by both OS's without any problems at all. Haven't experienced any dropped signals or network disconnects. Excellent value. Was this review helpful?

I did a lot of research before I bought a wifi card and decided to go with this. It didn't hurt that it came with a $20 mail-in rebate either.
The speed at short and long distances is good but I get disconnects pretty often. It is rather frustrating when you are in the middle of a download. I would definitely recommend using a download manager with this card. The signal is often very good and the software is very easy to use, even with encryption. Was this review helpful?
