Buy.com has increased the price after my purchase. Except voltage difference DDR1 is identical to DDR2 and that is too bad I can not use DDR2 to replace DDR1( I do not want to burn my memory). Other than that, install is easy and quick. At least after upgrade my Toshiba A45 laptop running XP has no lockups so far. Was this review helpful?

Needed to add some memory to speed up my old Dell Inspiron 600M laptop...for some reason its twice as expensive for this kind of memory. While its a decent price compared to other vendors, as far as value, for the price you only get half the memory (512MB)for PC2700 333Mhz systems vs 1 Gig for a newer PC5300 667MHz system. Regardless, worked fine, no problems and as usual, quick delivery from Buy.com Was this review helpful?

I installed it a few days ago in my new laptop. It was a tight fit - required much more force than I expected (this is the first time I've installed memory myself). But once I got it installed everything was fine. Programs seem to open faster, but I have yet to use my most memory-hogging programs on this new system. Was this review helpful?
