I purchased this memory as an upgrade to a Xerox Phaser 6180n printer. The memory compatibility list on the website does not specifically list this application, but the specifications for the memory matched. The memory installed easily, configured automatically, and worked without a hitch.

works perfectly in my Compaq Pressario 550-US. no trouble installing or recognizing....automatically configures, as all ram chips aught to these days... What more can you ask for? Did I mention I received it next day: for standard shipping!!! That's F-A-S-T.

GREAT Price- works without a hitch in my Lenovo S10 netbook- CRUCIAL's online memory adviser recommended this memory stick (1 gb) for my Lenovo S10 so I bought it at Buy.com after searching for the Crucial product number at Buy.com's website. Installed easy---slipped into slot and now I am using 1.5 gig. (The internal soldered in 512mb plus the Crucial 1 gb). This has helped my S10 run noticeably faster. I am glad I put it in the Lenovo netbook and glad I bought it from Buy.Com! I would grab one or two of these memory sticks at this price ($18.11 as of 1/22/09).

bought the crucial 1GB for my GF HP DV6000 Laptop which came with Vista. I wasn't using her laptop since it took too long to load anything. I saw the memory on buy.com and with the google 10 dollars off decided to get it. Free shipping with buy.com takes forever but thats besides the point. Installed it the computer did not recognise it at first so i tried again and this time the computer was able to recognize it and the memory shot up. Closed the laptop up started it and gave it to GF. She immediately noticed the change but since i never told her what i did she thinks the finally did something to unlock the slowness of Vista. I will let her believe she did for noow until i need to use that bargaining chip somewhere along the relationship. overall i recomend crucial. Looking to upgrade the other 512mb to 1gb, my Acer 4200 and my desktop computer with crucial products from buy.com Can't go wrong with Crucial!!!!!!!!

i installed the memory on my wife's HP laptop DV6000. i removed one of the preinstalled 512mb and inserted this baby. the computer dropped from 956 to 478 MB. Disappointed i tried it again and this time it recognized it and had over 1400mb. Closed that baby up restarted the laptop and gave it to wifey. She started talking of how her computer was faster not knowing i was the one responsible. Ha! i ll let her think she did something or her computer magically started working faster with Vista on it LOL. But we have recognized some speed. Am looking to upgrade my desktop with crucial products now. i have faith in crucial.

I added this product to a Dell Inspiron 6000 that had 512mb of ram. I now have 1.5GB and my computer runs much smoother. It is very easy to install. It took less than 10 minutes. You can't go wrong with this just make sure it is compatible with your computer.

took less than 5 mins to install, just unscrew access panel and pull on tabs to release.. just don't forget to ground yourself or touch a piece of metal before operating. did wonders! winamp used to take 16 seconds to fully load and now it's down to less than 7.

As of yet, know problems. Then again, I've never had any problems with Crucial Memory. Couldn't beat the price + free shipping to boot.

Bought two sticks to upgrade my new notebook from 1GB to 2GB. Unfortunately, when I installed them, the computer would lock up. After much testing, I came to the conclusion that the RAM is fine. It seems my Acer Extensa 5620 user manual is incorrect about the computer supporting the PC2-5300 (667mhz) speed. I later bought some Crucial PC2-4200 sticks for my computer and they work fine. As for the PC2-5300 sticks I'm writing this review for: I gave them to a friend to put into his notebook, and they've been working great the past couple days. So, these memory sticks work great, assuming your computer can use them. Heads up Acer Extensa 5620 owners.

My DELL Inspiron 6000 laptop, was running with 512 MB memory. 2 months back I added an additional 1 GB. I only had to unscrew the memory cover, insert the ram in the free slot and put it back. And my laptop immediately recognised it. No problem since then. <p> Note: Though it is NOT memory's problem, just thought it might be useful. I didn't have enough space in my C:(not enough space to dump 1.5gb memory into my C: drive), so it wasn't hibernating . Instead it was going to standby mode and my battery used to drain. After deleting few files, everything is fine now.

I ordered it on Nov. 13th and it was on my doorstep on the 15th. Fantastic speed on Buy.com's part, it was economy shipping too. Bought two of these for a total of 39.90 (With google checkout $10 off deal). That's an unbelievable steal. I have a Dell E1505 and I bought these two to replace the two 512mb ram sticks I have in there now. Installation was easy, 3 minutes in and out. Noticeable difference, great stuff. Bought this hoping it would work on a MacBook Pro. 1gb from Apple would run $175. The Crucial memory was going for $40. Happily, I was not disappointed. Received today, installed, and everything works fine. Highly recommend this, especially for the price.

The memory is working perfectly on my Gateway laptop. I ordered two Crucial 1GB memory modules to upgrade my previous 512MB memory. My computer's BIOS and Windows XP recognized the new Crucial memory automatically. I now notice a speed improvement when I have multiple windows open when browsing the internet. I'm definitely glad that I decided to upgrade my memory.

I have MacBook Pro... this memory module works okay with samsung memory module which is factory installed. After increase memory to 2GB, I can feel overall speed improvement as expected. I paid about $75 for this but now only $66.99. This is really good deal... think about MAC store how much they charge for this upgrade....
