4 of 5 Good Economy replacement power supply Friday, October 10, 2008 A Customer from St. Louis, MO
I had 2 DELL PC's. Both went down a few month's apart. I read on line how Dell had a bad batch of power supplies so I thought I would try to swap one out to give it a try. Everything worked out great. I ended up buying 2 of them and fixed both of my PC's. My only complaint would be that for a standard mini-tower case, I thought the power leads were too short. I had to pick up some splitter/extension power leads.
If you are looking for a cheap power supply replacement to get you PC back up and running, I highly reccomend this one.

5 of 5 Worked fine for me.. Saturday, October 04, 2008 Wayne from Texas
Some of the reviews stated that the fan was loud. Not a problem for me. Was easy to install, works fine, and does the job. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Not silent, works well Sunday, September 14, 2008 A Customer from Bryan, TX
The "80mm silent fan" is still very noticeable, though not too noisy.
The main connector adapts to older motherboards by allowing you to remove the four extra connections. This fit my Pentium 4 motherboard great.
Easy to install and runs fine. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Cool and Shiny Saturday, March 22, 2008 C. Davis from Pulaski, VA
This power supply was easy to install and so far it is doing a great job. It is not totally silent however. It does make some noise. But not as much as some I have had. Its a great product for the price. I am very please with it and would recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It does the trick Tuesday, March 11, 2008 Steve from Hesperia, CA
Ok it's hard to do a review on something like a power supply. Oh, but it does have some cool features, like chrome housing, black plugs and a cool black wire cover for a few of the wires coming out of it. It's no louder or quieter than any other power supply I have, so I'm happy. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great price...a little noisy Tuesday, February 26, 2008 A Customer from Chicago, IL
My headline says it all. I am not a techy but this power source was a BREEZE to replace (less than 10 minutes). Had previously purchased another brand for 4x the price of this one and then found this deal...guess which one got returned?!
Definitely noisier than original unit but quieter than the more expensive unit that I returned! Phenomenal price!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It did the job Friday, December 28, 2007 A Customer from Midland, MI
I needed to replace a failed power supply in a Dell Dimension 4700 and this one worked just fine. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 works great! Wednesday, December 12, 2007 jeff from grand rapids, MI
nice unit for the money, not super quiet but not real noisy, bundled cables a plus as were the easy grip plugs, overall very good deal Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Not quiet at all!!! Friday, December 07, 2007 Toopax from Pompano FL
Definitely a good value for the money. But if i was to buy one again. I d find a super quiet one. This is really noisy. There is always that humming in the background. It seems not much but my other one was so quiet that i just can't get used to it. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Disapointing Connections Sunday, December 02, 2007 A Customer from Jenkintown, PA
I purchased this supply as a replacement for an old ATX supply. Although the price makes this drive appear to be a bargain, its poor build quality and lack of power connections severely limits its value. I would not recommend this power supply. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Buy Friday, November 30, 2007 bmj84 from Indy, IN
My old power supply fried and this one just happened to be a steal when I was looking. Runs quieter than my previous one and was cheap compared to other comparable units on the market Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Unreliable, won't power up 90% of the time. Thursday, November 29, 2007 Joe from Reston, Virginia
Bad connection. I spent more than two hours trying back and forth, finally got it up. When it's on, it runs OK. But, if I have to restart it, it takes more than 10 tries to turn it on. Don't buy this one. Was this review helpful?

...the marketing guy that called this thing silent.
My old monitor blew up, so I thought a new widescreen LCD would be nice. The onboard graphics didn't support widescreen resolutions, so I needed a new graphics card. It needed more power than the standard PSU had so it all turned into a bigger job than planned.
Output seems stable under all conditions, and pretty close to nominal voltage. It is very shiny...and was cheap after the rebate. The one advantage of the fairly noisy fan is that it is noisy because it's moving a lot of air - possibly compensating for smallish heatsinks in the PSU?, but it pulled so much air through the case that I could take out one of the case fans and the mobo and video card are still cooler than before.

5 of 5 Works fine, good value Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Chicago, IL
This replacement power supply works fine on my old PC, was easy to install, and the price was right. Got a 50W boost for the trouble, too. Good piece of hardware. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Tuesday, September 04, 2007 Shvingy from Islip, NY
Took me 5 minutes to replace my old power supply, and i was happy with the results. My computer now runs faster than it did before, and WoW now runs at 28fps instead of 17. Glad to see that all of my hardware is being used!
My only complaint (Gotta be angry at somthing. :P) is that it is not silent... but its a smooth sound i've gotten used to the day I got it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Get's the job done (kind of) Monday, August 13, 2007 A Customer from Fitchburg, MA
Works fine. Wires were a bit short, so i had to do some home-made splicing using extra wire from my old power supply. Also only has 1 SATA connection (not great if you have an newer rig with a SATA HD as well as DVD drive, or multiple SATA HD. I spliced in SATA connections from my old Powersupply to resolve that issue as well. Lastly, the fan is noticably louder than the one from the 300 watt power supply it replaced, but i don't care as long as it get's the job done. Was this review helpful?

This power supply was easy to install, has plenty of power connections and has a fairly quiet fan. The only problem I had was the description for the item has it stated as a 20 pin motherboard connection when it is actually a 24 pin that can be converted to a 20 pin. I almost sent the power supply back before I re-examined the connector and saw the the extra 4 pins detach from the connector. There is no documentation on this item, so it would be nice if this was stated in the description or there was documentation with the item. Other than this minor problem it is a great value. 5 of 5 CoolMAX 450 - Good buy! Monday, April 09, 2007 Mark Rinfret from Portsmouth, RI
My son's aging E-Machines T2042 died in a puff of smoke. I replaced the original 250W power supply with this one (and also replaced the motherboard). What can you say about a power supply (without performing exotic stability/noise/accuracy tests)? It fit the case, had all the right connectors, worked properly (and silently :-) and the price was excellent. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works like a charm. Sunday, March 18, 2007 tvguyjohn from Meridian, MS
Quieter than some brands, have had it for about a month or so now. Bought it to replace old power supply that died. This one works perfectly. No complaints. Was this review helpful?

The power supply works well and is VERY shiney. It's a great value for it's price.
The problem that I noticed is that the power supply is not silent. It's not loud either, but is definitely louder than my other 'non-silent' power supply that it replaced. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Replacement Product Wednesday, December 13, 2006 Mike422 from Normal, IL.
I needed a replacement power supply for my recently upgraded computer (new motherboard, etc.) because of increased power requirements. The power supply was priced right, appeared to be well made and was extremely easy to install. This was my first time replacing a power supply but only took about 30 minutes. It worked fine, runs quietly and I would recommend it. Was this review helpful?

This product was easy to order and receive. Installation of the product took about an hour and was done by a person not used to doing this.
I like the product and would buy future products. Was this review helpful?
