The Centon 2GB SD Card was a fantastic deal. I'm using it to store pictures for my digital picture frame. It works seamlessly right out of the box. Copying pictures from my computer with Vista SP2 to the digital picture frame is simple and reliable. The free shipping is of course slow. Dont expect to get it in a week. But I chose to wait and take advantage of the shipping being free. If you need something faster from Buy.com, don't choose the free shipping, pay for the speed of shipping you desire. This sd card works fine. I've had it now for about a week and works great for the purpose I bought it for. This is an everyday standard sd card for an average around town price. I would recommend this sd card, but could probably find the same thing locally for about the same price and not have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive from buy.com with the free shipping. I bought two of these Centon 2 GB Class 2 SD cards to share photos and to take photos to a local printer. They are slow but do the job well enough. If my lovely wife accidently leaves one behind at the photo shop, no big deal. It would be helpful if every SD product would clearly advertise the product class along with their speed claims. I decided to give this 4 out of 5 stars for a few reasons: ________________________________________1________________________________________I have not used it, or even opened the package - I bought it as a Christmas present for my Dad - so I can't comment on how well it works, though I would assume it will work just fine for his needs (digital camera), and should work just fine for the needs of anyone else considering it. (I figure people who are picky enough to notice whether it's "too slow" or something would be looking at an SDHC card anyway...) ________________________________________2________________________________________I selected free shipping, and I bought it with plenty of time to spare before Christmas, so it isn't too big of a deal - if I wanted it faster, I could have chosen an expedited shipping, but regardless, it took just over 2 weeks to get to me. I'm not complaining, but wanted to include that as something you may want to take into consideration. ______________________________(Another_New_Paragraph)______________________________This card is (was?) an incredible value though - as I'm writing this, its listed at $8.75, which is a pretty good deal for a 2GB SD card. Best Buy has a 2GB Kingston SD card for $13.99 though, and I'm sure other (non-online) retailers wouldn't be too far off in price either, and the few extra dollars to get a card right away, instead of waiting 2+ weeks to get it (assuming you select free shipping), the support/customer service of a store (rather than internet), and a more well-known brand than Centon (or maybe Centon is a reputable company, but I'd never heard of them before) may make another card worth it. HOWEVER, I was able to take advantage of a coupon code, and got it for $6.64 shipped - and since I wasn't in a rush to have it right away (ordered beginning of November), at the time, I couldn't find a better deal for an SD card (not all devices can use an SDHC card, so not counting those) - therefore, I rated the Value a 5.
