5 of 5Excellent camera for purse or pocket Wednesday, October 18, 2006 John from Atlanta, GA
I purchased this for my wife, who was not pleased with my heavier, bigger and more complex camera. This camera performs nearly as well as my larger Canon, and does 100% of what my wife wants from a digital camera. It is fast and has a large screen, and most importantly, has an optical viewfinder (preferable on sunny days) that is often omitted on many cameras in this small category.
If you are looking for a camera that fits in your shirt pocket or in a small purse, this is the way to go.

3 of 5Nice little camera but can't compare with a SLR Sunday, June 25, 2006 A Customer from New York City
I like the compact size of the camera. It is great for causal use but be aware of the delay between pictures and make sure to keep a steady hand when taking pictures. Good for everyday use.

5 of 5Excellent Producct Saturday, April 22, 2006 Johnny from Waldwick, NJ
The camera is nice small and great for the price. Easy use, large screen, has Great resolution and sharper then the sd400.
I noticed lots of improvements over the sd400 in the picture quality.
Its One issue I noticed, in both cameras 400 and 450, is the Auto Focus, sometimes it will focus on the wrong area. So you will need to press the button 2 or 3 times till it gets the right area to focus on. Then again it is canon's issue.

5 of 5Excellent Quality at good price Thursday, January 26, 2006 Tony Verde from Miami, Fl
After a large debacle between compact cameras I'm definitively pleased on my decision on the SD450. Overall excellent value and quality. Bought a 1GB SD card (the 16MB only holds 5 pictures in high resolution). The only thing I find annoying is the cover to plug the USB cable to connect with the computer that's why I prefer taking the SD card out and plug it into a card reader, other than that this camera is excellent. It does not have a lot of options if you like MANUAL photography. Don't hesitate to buy this camera.
