1 of 5 AWFUL!!! Wednesday, January 30, 2008 KS from NY, NY
This machine was broken when it arrived - it had an error message before I was even supposed to install the ink cartridges. Customer support was obnoxious, rationalized the problem by saying that even cars can be bought with flat tires. They would only offer repair support or a refurbished machine - not a new one. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Now I get to pay for a $20 cab ride to lug this thing to get repaired. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 For the Price this one is ok! Thursday, December 27, 2007 A Customer from West Valley City, Utah
It prints a little slower than my epson and the quality is about the same, I'm disappointed that it doesn't work on my wireless print server. The server only picks up the fax and I haven't tried it to see if it will actually send a fax that way. I had to hook it up to one of my computers that is available all the time. All together not a bad buy though. Was this review helpful?

For the money this is a great printer. Prints very fast and is quiet. One slight issue is when you press the Scan button it doesnt automatically scan, it brings up the software on your PC and then you have to click on the scan button though the software. Not that big of a deal. Copying is very easy.
Print quality is actually better then I expected but if you do heavy graphics I don't think this is for you.
Overall I am very happy with this machine.
I have not tried the faxing feature yet.

5 of 5 Excellent value Thursday, December 13, 2007 Don from Hobe Sound, FL
I needed a new printer in a hurry and quickly ordered what looked like the best deal. So far so good - performance exceeds that of the three year old HP with similiar capabilities it replaced - and the HP cost almost four times as much. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 great value Monday, December 10, 2007 clockwork from Ga
For $120. the performance is great! I was torn between this and the MP830 ($190). The 310 uses ink cart. w/integrated print heads ( 830 has a separate print head- my last canon printer used this tech. Ink 'wells' are cheaper, but when the head fails it's over $50), 310 cartridges are not 'chipped', so after market ink is available. 310 does not have mem card reader or lcd screen, but that wasn't important to me. Software works well, is not bloat-ware and runs in the background w/little resource usage. Time for 1st page to print is on the slow side. If you receive faxes overnight and the unit is nearby, you will appreciate the 'quiet' mode. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 It is a great Printer Friday, December 07, 2007 mc1942@gmail.com from Houston, TX
I very seldom write a review but I felt compelled to write on for this Printer. This is a outstanding printer with all the bells and whistles. Easy setup and works flawless. Print quality is outstanding and that is not the best part. The best part is Canon support you can actually speak to a REAL PERSON and a knowledgeable person. I called them to find out if a regular USB cable would work with the printer and found out it would. The tech also explained why a cable is not included. I used a $2.00 USB cable and in minutes I had it printing and scanning on my network. Was this review helpful?
