I have been stung repeatedly by trying to go "cheap" and buy after market inks, but after having to toss out brand new ones and cleaning the mess left in my printer from leaky ones I'm glad to pay the higher price for the OEM inks. Buying them in these two-packs, if available, is a nice way to reduce that higher cost. I also like Buy.com where I normally find the best price and ALWAYS have been pleased with their delivery accuracy and speed. The OEM inks still cost too much but the alternatives I have found to be more costly in the long run.

This two-pack consists of two Black "text" ink cartridges. To save on "color" ink, we print many non-critical pages in "grayscale" mode, meaning that only the Black "text" ink cartridge is used for printing. And, although the Black "text" ink cartridge is larger capacity than the "color" cartridges, we still need to replace the "text" cartridge more often than the "color" ones. It makes sense, then, to buy them two at a time. We didn't give a total 5-star rating because even though the multi-pack saves a few dollars, we still feel that these ink refill cartridges are too expensive.

Canon PGI-5BK Works Perfectly on my Canon MP810 PIXMA multifunction. Great price from Buy.com. It arrived quickly in perfect shape. I purchase often from Buy.com, and have always been completely satisfied.
