Price was much cheaper than retail. Canon is the best printer I owned, installation is easy. Only problem a is slight leak from cartridges.

It appears this cartridge does not include the chip, although it is hard to tell for sure. There are lots of 3rd parties that sell ink compatable with printers that use this cartridge ... but sometimes you have to move the chip over.

This multi-pack includes all four of the "photo" inks needed for our printer (Pixma MP600). In the past we have tried other combinations of photo paper and ink with, predictably, mixed results. Photos always look OK, but when using Canon ink and Canon photo paper our printed pictures have better color and tone than before. The reason we didn't give a total 5-star rating here is that even though we saved money by getting the multi-pack we still feel that the ink is too expensive. (To be fair, Canon printers usually have relatively low printing cost-per-page compared to some other brands of printer.) One other point. The Black "photo" ink will almost certainly run out before the other "photo" inks, even though the printer also has a Black "text" ink cartridge, too. So, consider buying a spare 2-pack of "photo" Black ink cartridges, if available.

What can you say? It's ink made by the OEM for the printer you have. When you print with it, the printer works the way it was made to work. The photos I print with the Canon ink are far superior to the aftermarket inks, especially when combined with the Canon Photo Plus Glossy or Photo Matte paper. The colors are vibrant and the details are sharp. This 4-pack is the best deal I've found, especially with the free shipping.

What can I say? Canon ink in a Canon printer is going to be awesome. Canon does have an excellent product. Being raped by inflated ink prices and unable to purchase off-brands because of the chip on the cartridge stinks. Buy.com prices are the best though, so thanks Buy.com!

What can I say. You're forced to buy OEM inks because they won't allow aftermarket cartridges. One package of ink cost almost as much as the printer (with ink) brand new. I suppose that's why the printers are so inexpensive, though, since you have to buy overpriced ink. But, I guess you don't have to worry about getting bad ink this way. <p> A side-note, Canon does have VERY good customer service. One of the ink cartridge's chip failed, reporting to the printer incorrectly that there was more than one of the same color installed. Canon sent me both cartridges as replacements (to insure I got the problem chip).... free of charge. <p> ...and Buy.com has the best price for this pack that I've been able to find and they have great customer service too!

I bought these cartridges initially thinking that they are genuine Canon. Even though they are not genuine but the performance is as good as originals.

Can't really write a review on ink. You are limited to buying the Canon ink for the Canon printer. Works for me.
