I bought this on a long shot to see if I could get away with running two PC monitors from one output. Neither one of them liked that very well so one of them is running on the analog output until the new dual DVI video card shows up.
What it does do well that it was probably never intended for is connect two DVI cables together for a longer cable run. 25' plus 10' with this splitter cable attaching them and no noticeable loss of signal quality. MicroCenter wanted the same $20 for a DVI coupler so it all worked out.
Certainly nothing wrong with the splitter (just the guy cobbling things together) Was this review helpful?

Good application for early Samsung products with DVI as the main connection. Cable and DVD work well off of single HDTV input. Only problem is feedback from cable box, must shut it off completely to play DVD. Was this review helpful?
