Plugged into a Pioneer DV400V DVD player, and tried to plug in two matching 37" Olevia 1080i flat panel TV's. Only 1 inlet worked. The second inlet caused severe static and crackeling with white noise. No picture. ZipZoomFly (the vendor) replaced the unit and the same problem with the second unit. They suggested I call the manufacturer, or call in a tecnician. I called Cables Unlimited (the manufacturer), but they do not offer support on the phone...e-mail only. What could be handled on the phone in minutes can take days in trading e-mails and waiting for responses. Not worth it, no matter how inexpensive their junk is. Therefore, I will not be purchasing anything with the Cables Unlimited brand name again.
Piece of useless junk. I disagree with Trabuco, CA...it has NO VALUE if it doesn't work. A waste of every cent spent!
I would have rated it 0 of 5 if I had the option. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this part thinking that I could connect my cable receiver and a new DVD player to the one HDMI input on my TV.
After receiving the unit I tried it and if you plug in both units to the switch the tv goes out. If you unplug one unit it is OK.
Calling the manufacture I was told that many of the new units of equip. have some type of encoding in them and I would have to buy a HDMI Switch for manual switching. Their units costs $129. Was this review helpful?
