I needed this for my 06 BMW which has an AUX connection. I havent connected my IPOD via the phono jack so I cant compare vs IPOD connector but sound is great without buzz or noise. Connector stays secure. Great value.

I ordered this item as I was not happy with the audio jack connection and sound. Now that I am using the dock connection the sound quality is much better. Would highly recommend this product.
