Serviceable USB cable/connector kit that allows just about any possible USB connection to be made, but the adapters can be somewhat bulky. The small travel mouse sealed the deal for me, but was very disappointing because it stopped working after a few days. Was this review helpful?

I like the idea of creating any kind of kit that makes life easier and compact many different simpler tools into one. In this case this different cable kit was a great idea. The product looks like it is made out of a cheap product, but I guess it does the job. I got this b/c I didn't want to carry around many different wires and this does the job for me. I had a Cables To Go adapter kit already and I bought this Mobile Office Cable Kit for my daughter who is a technology teacher and has a lot of toys. This kit has cables for the traveler plus the adapters that let you convert ends for Firewire and USB cables.

This product is a great value. Just purchasing a 4-port USB hub, USB optical mini-mouse, and stereo headphone/microphone combo would cost over $40. When you add in the USB and other communications cable adapters, it would probably be over $70. This toolkit is an excellent addition to my service call equipment, and is available at a fantastic price. The product also arrived quickly, despite choosing standard shipping. I tote my macbook around with me everywhere I go since I have the kind of job that requires me to work remotely at random times during the day. I can't tell you how many times (in the past) I've found myself without the proper cable or connection for this or that. Looks OK. It will do the job with the USB cables. The headphone is a joke. It fell apart when I took it out of the box - I don't know if it was ever together. With difficulty, I put back together, but do not think it will hold since it is very flimsy. The cost of the cables is fair. Was this review helpful?

I picked this up during one of Buy.com's specials for like $20. It's really compact and the cables have this great ratcheting system. The cables start out tightly wound like a closed yo-yo. Then you can stretch it out to your desired length (it locks), and then when you're done, you stretch it slightly again, and I ratchets back into the closed yo-yo like position. Plus the mini-mouse is quite handy and works great. Great product, although it looks like the price has gone back up. Was this review helpful?
