5 of 5 Great deal, no problems! Wednesday, March 18, 2009 Jeff from Bergen County, NJ
I was a little hesitant at the price for two of these, but when I got them in the mail, I was quite impressed! Very sturdy, will hold up well in a rugged office environment. Can be mounted in different ways with out slipping. They provide a piece of rubber to reduce the sliding depending on how you mount it. Overall a great deal and a great product. 5 of 5 .Good buy Monday, March 02, 2009 Christopher Grimes from Jonesboro,Georgia
If you read the specs, it tells you everything you need to know about this product. All I use it for is a non-powered 4-port USB hub so that I don't have to go behind my computer all the time. It works well and serves it's purpose. I also gave the second one to my neighbor and he liked it alot. It is well built and cool looking! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 I am a cable freak! Wednesday, October 08, 2008 A Customer from Venice, CA
There is nothing I hate worse than to see oodles of hanging wires behind my desk. I used these in sequence and screwed them to the underside of my desktop. With the help of a few zip-ties, the back of my desk is as organized as the top. Oh, and by the way, the blue light glow is cool too. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not good enough Tuesday, August 26, 2008 Emmanuel from Santa Monica CA
I got this hub because I liked the lay out. The ports have enough space to be plugged in, unlike others who are too close and you can not plug in flash drives and regular usb cables. Once I received it the disapointment began. It does not come with a power supply, it draws power from your computer. I knew this because it said so on the box, but no where in the box does it say that because of this it does not support external hard drives or any other devices that do not have their own power supply. So my external hard drives, my ipod, my iphone, my psp, my digital cam, and my wireless mouse do not work with this device. The only thing I can use is a flashdrive, and even that stops working after 15 or 20 min. When I emailed Cables to Go and told them about the problems, their response was "get a better USB hub." If you are only going to use flashdrives, this will work for you, but I doubt anyone will plug in 4 flashdrives at the same time. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 QUESTION & GOOD ANSWER Friday, February 08, 2008 Just an ordinary inventor(TM) from Everywhere, USA
What if you usb'ed one of these little suckkas into a powered usb hub?, like, say, a BELKIN 7 port hub which has an ample 5v at 3.8 amp power supply, wouldn't that solve the power supply issue? BTW, I have two such Belkins and they work great. I downgrade performance and satisfaction cause it didn't have its own power supply, but the price is right.

4 of 5 Decent except for the blue LED Thursday, February 07, 2008 A Customer from New Jersey
This usb hub is built pretty tough. Only problems i had with it is for mounting it it comes with machine screws to mount it. I would be easier if it came with actual wood screws.
The blue LED is BRIGHT. Brighter than a flash light. If your going to use this in say your bedroom you may have to unplug it or put a piece of electrical tape over the light. Its blinding every time i look at it to plug something into it. Was this review helpful?

I've had a couple of the 7-port powered hubs. They both worked great at first then after a couple of months they bit the dust. I only paid $20 a copy for these units. Generally, I haven't had much luck with anything from cables to go. Was this review helpful?

I also was a bit unhappy that these did not come with a power cord. I had been thinking about buying on of the Cables To Go 7 port hubs, which does state the power supply is included. It appears I assumed the 4 port hubs would be the same. My bad I suppose for not fully reading the specs.
That being said, I have hooked up one hub and it works like a champ. It is solid, stylish, and does the job. For the sale price I received these at, it is a winner. Now, where do I get the right power cord for this?

I bought 2 of those hubs at buy.com 2 weeks ago. Both hubs work very well with digital cameras, USB drives, USB mp3 player.
I am very satisfied.

Guess I have to read the details a little more closely, although this is the first time I ran across one being sold non powered.
After finding this out its safe to say the price is a little steep for this particular hub. Was this review helpful?

perhaps it's not fair to give this a low rating since it was my own oversite, but I was very disappointed that the units didn't come with a power cord. Why would anyone want to buy a USB hub without one? Was this review helpful?
